  1. hello, one thing that I believe that the NU coaches like, & other coaches for the matter is that w/ his speed if it does not work out at qb he can be switched to a position where his speed can be utilized more, such as using him as a receiver or def back - ala newcombe or crouch, who both came as qb's, yet both played for a 1/2 of a yr, or more as a receiver under solich - it was/is their versatility that was/is so intriguing, useful, & made/makes it difficult for a coach not to play them regardless of the school, or depth at a position for whatever school grabs him they will be getting a great student-athlete w/ the intellect to grasp any scheme offensively or defensively
  2. hello, well will henry you joined NU & huskerboard on the same day, congraduations! One thing that has to be intruguing to you is the fact that there are many receiving records that are there to be broken at NU (especially w/ this wco) - nothing like placing your name in the record books, like fr nate swift did this last yr.
  3. hello, well if ucla could not stop him for visiting a&m, then what school could? hmmm? my guess is that it is that other la school, right? http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=501624
  4. hello, I loved the will henry verbal even more after I saw this headline: http://tennessee.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=501538
  5. hello, well NU got their 1st committment out of tx for this yr, & their 3rd 6'6" player of the recruiting yr (along w/ williams & smith) henry is a great pickup not just because of height & speed - but because NU seemed to be after one last wr for their recruiting yr, & henry was the last one standing after others chose other schools, & mitchell hated ne's weather, & hancock I believe has of recently, or will so commit to tn
  6. hello, well I suppose that gerald lee's chances for a NU visit just went up w/ jensen being down, right? http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=46012
  7. yes, that is the best news that I have heard all day, thanks everyone for the news, now I can sleep smiling!
  8. hello, I just saw a picture of freeman clad in purple & sitting in the stands of a bb game - I just hope that he was sitting in the stands for the NU-ksu bb game where NU slapped ksu really hard in ksu's own gym - please, please someone tell me that that was the game that he was at when the picture was taken, please!
  9. hello, so davis has also eliminated nc st - who I thought was one of his fav schools - oh well, that is the way that recruiting goes - but, rodriguez at wv has got to impress any hs recruits, especially since he is not scared to play fr - plus, he took a young squad that I thought was in the middle of a rebuilding yr to the sugar bowl - yet, NU has stayed steady throughout w/ davis where others have fallen - plus, NU's gameday atmosphere, fans & early playing time have to be important issues that have to be playing in his & mouton's minds, right?
  10. hello, I think that NU will land the lacky 6'6"/4.4 speedster, & he maybe it for the recruiting season - unless blake wants lee bad enough at dt than there maybe lee as a possibility - yet, is not NU very close to its 85 schollie #'s right now (even w/ the possibility of gs, or transfers, or non-qualifiers, or decommittments - NU is still pretty close to its limit, plus there is always a good possibility that a handful of walk-ons are rewarded w/ schollies, & there is also a chance that muhammad & thomas are rewarded w/ an additional yr)? I just wish there was a chance that NU could snag mouton
  11. hello again, I have heard from family members, who have watched southlake when daniels & mcelroy qb'ed, & read on other message boards that mcelroy's #'s are more of the product of a system than pure qb talent - & it should not have hurt his stats that he was throwing to 2 son's of former dallas cowboy players - '07 hs grads, renfro & ? - I just forgot the other kids name also, according to rivals garrett green has an offer from ucla http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=500411 so, it is starting to look like it will be '07 for a qb recruit for NU - bates & washington?
  12. hello, a familiar name to NU from fl is washington - this time it is latravis washington, who is a relative of f washington, & was at NU's summer camp last yr, & should be again this yr - since, he has a schollie from NU (& mi st) - according to scout, & here is the link to the '07 dual-threat qb: http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=8&c=1&nid=2360872
  13. hello, wow this has been quite a wk for NU, since it 1st seemed to start out w/ fans somewhat concerned w/ NU's lack of quality recruits after the army-aa game, & then NU gets - shawn watson, a former oc & well-known recruiter to take over scott downings duties as recruiting coor. & te's coach cruz barrett says that he is ending his recruitment by other schools, & is solid/sold on NU keith williams a huge ol commits to NU - giving NU a good assembly of young talent on the o line w/ jones, barrett, henry, & now williams (& possibly martin) thenarse verbals to NU, & makes 3 possibly good young safeties for NU w/ himself, young, & west (NU just has to wait & see if thenarse qualifies, though) henry & lee should be coming this weekend for their visits, so there is a chance that they could verbal, which could make this a truly special wk for NU - & would give NU recruits #22 & 23 - which may end the recruiting yr for NU w/ their verbals - yet, there is always that slight chance that mouton may decide to wear the scarlet & cream, also - right?
  14. hello, NU's recruits may not be a top 10 recruiting class, but the group of kids that they have coming in have to be leading the country in size w/ nicks, williams, dj jones, smith, haines, p allen, barrett, martin, mcneill, purify, henry, holt, jensen, & johnson - all b/w 6'3" - 6'7" - they are bigger than most bb teams http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=9&c=8&yr=2006
  15. hello, during the army aa game freeman injuried his ankle, & when he threw his throws were thrown into the ground, yet he was somewhat mobile on a couple of plays even w/ a tweeked ankle.
  16. hello, here is that link to mouton & rivals rating of him after the army aa game: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/conte....asp?CID=498786 p.s. that should be enough links to sate everyone, today, right?
  17. hello, mustain was 2-for-13 passing for -12 yrds, & was hit hard a few x's through the game according to rivals free page on the army aa game: http://rivals100.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=498778
  18. hello, according to scout on fehoko: http://nebraska.scout.com/2/486918.html
  19. hello, from mike farrell of rivals on regards to faifili: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/conte....asp?CID=498621
  20. hello, according to rivals, joseph faifili, dt, 6'2", 300, 4.86, kahuku, hi (rivals database) commented to utah at the all-amer game in sa, but he may decide to look into other schools since now he is attracting a lot more attention (rivals free post army all-amer report) according to scout, another utah verbal maybe getting some additional attention - fehoko, ol 6'1", 295, 5.2, aiea, hi (rivals database), because of his performance in the max emfinger's 2nd annual all-amer bowl in shreveport, la (lsu & NU have now recently offered, according to scout)
  21. hello, according to rivals this morning mouton had a better game than wallace & mays did, since mouton had 4 & 1/2 tackles, & was covering harvin a lot of the game does NU still have a chance of garnering mouton's verbal? - one can only hope
  22. hello, w/ ferentz willing to negotiate w/ some nfl teams, I was just wondering if this will effect clayborn & tarpinian's committments to ia, (& especially if he leaves) & will NU be willing to offer tarpinian now, especially if davis & mouton are hinting at going elsewhere, & thenarse fails to qualify or also goes elsewhere. Plus, NU needs all the help they can get at s, since last yr they received no verbals at the s position, & this yr 2 hs prospects, & a juco (even w/ 3 recruits this yr, NU has very little experience & depth at s - so, the more the merrier - or will NU be satisfied w/ who they have if davis, mouton, & thenarse choses another school?)
  23. hello, w/ wallace going to pa st, & antwine perez & taylor mays going to usc, mouton who at one time mentioned that he was looking at some top schools who could present early playing time for him has to be reconcidering NU, right? plus, blake was in sa to watch him, & he knows that NU is in dire need of safety help (& much more than mi, or lsu - which has verbals from 3 other s this yr) p.s. if he choses usc, which is loaded at every position - especially at s, (imo) he will be following the path of rocky hinds in a yr & 1/2 what say you?
  24. hello, I know that this is a wistful type of ?, yet if garrett green visits NU does NU have a chance at getting rodney glass to visit, too? rodney glass, 5'11", 170, 4.40, ****, 18th rated ath on rivals & 21th on ca's top 100, played in califlorida bowl w/ green, & at sherman oaks (ca) notre dame projected as a either a rb or db in college (similar to wallace w/ projected position, yet glass has better speed, & wallace better size) both were going to visit schools together earlier (ms & az st) he has az st, wa, & unlv as his top schools on rivals
  25. hello, gerald lee from scottsdale az cc, 6'3" 276 4.7 (wow) *** dt, 78 in rivals top 100 jucos, has set a visit to NU - blake has been on him for a little while now (he has s flor as his leader, & has had offers & interest from ut, aub, or st, & boi st) he will be a 3-for-2 guy, & will graduate in may he went to hs in no, la, is from the same juco as louis holmes who is the #1 juco prospect for this yr p.s. 3 luke warm prospects who will be going elsewhere - adams committed to l-ville, turner to az, & homer will be visiting wa, & most likely will commit there (this weekend or next)
