  1. murillo will be visiting sept 29 along w/ townsend & amie

hello, according to a scout article, murillo has been having serious thoughts about possible turning pro - talk about confident:

    http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&a...2%2f571640.html

If he thinks he is good enough to go pro then so be it. If he doesn't make it and winds up flipping burgers because he is not good enough to play at that level and has no education because he passed on a free ride then that is what he deserves. Juco ball doesn't prepare some players for D1 ball let alone the NFL.

hello, according to scout, murillo enjoyed his visit, & may still have aspiration of going pro, also:

  2. hello, when papio-lv & oma north played fri night, nebraskans got to see 2 of the top sr qbs in the state on the same field:

    heiman was 18 of 28, for 196 yrds, & 1 td, & 6 for 25 rushing

    bates was 10 of 17, for 198 yrds, & 11 for 26 rushing w/ 1 td

    p.s. oma north won 35 to 21

2nd p.s. heiman is beginning to look more like a preferred walk-on, again for NU

  3. Hey I talked for about 15 minutes with this guy, lol he was so excited he couldnt stop talking to me... but he was extremly impressed with the stadium/fans/atmosphere and what Nebraska was like, he said he loved the weather.... before he came his friends told him it would be snowing. We talked about the game to, he seemed a little disappointed that we didn't blow out Kansas like he thought we would but couldnt believe how loud the OT was. He also pointed out we needed a corner because a certain one kept getting beat over the top.

Overall: Seemed like a good kid that sounds like he liked the place a lot... he was staying with Ricky Thenarse so hopefully he shows him a good time

hello, according to scout he will be staying through today w/ thenarse, & then will be attending classes to witness the classes offered at NU:

p.s. will he verbal after today? Especially since, he & his father will be touring the campus together, too:

  4. I wish he would make his commitment solid....i guess if we throw 6 more TD's to TE's

    That's what I'm thinking...will he be a Husker?

I would like to think so. He likes how well we are doing this season and how involved the TE's have been. I'm not worried one bit, at this point, about his commitment to us.

well, kansashusker & others, ian harris visited mo this weekend for the mo/co game:

p.s. he is still committed to NU, but who knows what the next move will be - will it be by he, or by cally

  5. hello, joseph townsend decision b/w NU & wa st is difficult for him, because he gave his pledge to wa st out of hs, yet his brother larry townsend played for NU during the '90 (& both NU & wa st have offered):

    http://washingtonstate.scout.com/2/539401.html

townsend came to the NU/ks game as an unofficial, & was very impressed w/ the game & atmosphere - I predict that he officially visits wa st & NU before making a decision b/w the 2

  6. hopefully we get him in for a visit and sees the atmosphere in Lincoln during gameday.

hello, should be coming for the NU/ks game, which has been expected for some time, now.

he has scheduled a visit w/ ks, on 10/06, after he visits NU for the NU/ks game, but let's hope that he commits to NU after this weekend, & voids his visit for his ks official

edit: he will commit to either NU or ks after he visits ks officially next wk:

p.s. according to rivals he should be verballing to either NU or ks sometime this week:

  7. Well for the recruits that might have been a better show than a blow out. They got to see this team come from behind and beat a decent team, and they got to see the fan loyalty. We'll see, hopefully we'll get some commits out of this weekend.

hello, I am going out on a limb, & saying that based on what was seen by the recruits that...

murillo, wright, & glover will verbal tomorrow to NU - plus, all 3 have NU high, or highest on their list

mendoza will probably see some other schools - especially since, he just released his top 5 list

lawrence had to love the game, especially since he has NU & ks tied atop his list of favs - but, he also saw rivera, who plays mlb for ks, & is from his hometown, star very big for ks on def, tonight

smith has a lot of choices of schools, & since this is his 1st visit, I think that he will visit other colleges before deciding - yet, he may also be a big surprise, because he really wanted to visit NU greatly, & he wanted to visit them 1st (but, he also saw that NU's safeties played poorly, tonight, which had to either interest him, or discourage him)

  8. hello, william cole is still set to visit this weekend, but akeem auguste is very doubtful - he really does not have an interest in NU unlike his teammate eain smith, who really wants to visit NU

p.s. amie has now set up a visit w/ NU for the NU/tx game on 10/20

edit: kerley will now be visiting w/ witt & other prospects for the NU/tx game

2nd edit: william cole will be visit 11/03

    http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?cid=583084

p.s. he may be coming this weekend w/ akeem auguste

  10. hello, parker is trying to make it in for this weekend also, even though he is scheduled to come next weekend 10/06 - he wants to commit, yet NU coachs want him to visit 1st - therefore, he will be N either this week on his visit, or next...
