I can’t help help but laugh every time they replay that pathetic attempt at a tackle by Bootle.
-
Love the effort from Davis!
-
I hope they replay that pitiful tackle attempt 30+ times to tre Neal. Just walking through arm tackles now. This is hard to watch
-
Farniok, reed, Lamar Jackson and young should not see the field again. Back up all this accountability talk.
-
Just turn around and catch the ball. I hate watching these defensive backs

So him transferring makes no sense.....he could have waited till end of the season and kept playing
But then you'd have to work hard at football and school for the rest of the year. Doesn't really sound like his dig...

Maybe need a little positivity this morning. Martinez was so good yesterday. I think he has as much total potential as just about any Husker true freshman quarterback of the last 30 years.
He threw for 323 yards and ran for 91. We had 582 yards of total offense - the third time we had more offensive yards than the other team out of four games. This kid is extremely special and it kind of feels like it's getting drowned out by being 0-4, but it shouldn't.
I could watch this clip all day:
I mean...wow. Talk about having the whole package. As a true freshman. He releases the ball knowing Spielman is going to beat his man and drops it into the only spot that allows Spielman to haul it in.
Pretty incredible stuff in my opinion. It's so refreshing to see a Nebraska QB set his feet and step into a throw. Watching guys fall away all these years, even when it worked out, just killed me.

Bring on the Matt Masker era!!!

Andrew Bunch straight up sucks. This is going to be a much much slower revival than I thought.
-
I think Frost will hand them out on an individual basis as players earn them, during training camp. Then maybe a few will earn a blackshirt as the year progresses. I really don't see him waiting until after the season has started to hand them out.

These are things that I heard about Lee during the off-season from fans, that Lee hasn't shown me yet this season.
1. Lee will be able to step up in the pocket to avoid sacks.
2. Lee is mobile enough to actually run designed QB runs.
3. It will be good to have a QB to go throw progressions and make accurate passes to the 2nd or 3rd option on the play.
4. Lee won't force throws downfield.
This!
i especially want to see number 3.
If we have a pro quarterback in the making taking snaps, I want to see him going through progressions, manipulating the coverage by looking them off, and if things aren't there, hitting the check down on time and in stride so they have an opportunity to turn it into a bigger play.

Bring on the Patrick O'Brien era?

Everyone take a second to replay wilbon's textbook blocking form...

Credit where credit is due, that was a fantastic pre-snap read!

Lee has made some solid throws today, but I have yet to see him throw to, or even look at a 2nd, let alone 3rd option today. We need him to work through a progression.
-
15 minutes ago, I was convinced we were gonna score to end the half and start the 2nd with the ball down only 7. That got ugly real quick.

Oregon cb's keep looking back at the ball! Is that allowed?!?

Oregon is on pace to win 224-0. That's pretty interesting.

This team is still only a bowl game win away from something Bo pelini was never able to do. A 3 loss season. I think with the amount of games played today, keeping a season to 3 losses or less is more important than 9 or 10 wins.

Great job with the end around call! Gotta make the kick just a little harder with an angle, just to keep us on our toes...
