No, Cross just hasn't been getting carries the last two games. Giving too many to Ameer.

Sadly I agree. Lack of zone read has hurt his yards. His stats have been good but he has really been average with one big run in the first two games to make his stats look better.

Yep. Kid is a crease runner. This season, for whatever reason, the zone read has been completely abandoned. I know they said we had like a 17 play drive in the first half. Don't know if it has ever taken us that long to score.

We've cut down on how much we run the zone read and unsurprisingly, we have lost a lot of our big play ability and Taylor isn't getting very many rushing yards because... You guessed it, most of his runs are on zone reads.
