Wow! Nice surprise.

One and done based on what?Only way I'd go after this kid is if there is a scholly left to burn. Seems like a one and done to me.
-
No.Very upset that we let this Juan get away
No.

Looks like Oregon might be in trouble for over working players. Wonder if that changes anything.
-
I think the offense in Riley's first year might be a better indicator of things going forward. Even with Tommy, things were pretty good. Imagine that with a more accurate QB.
This year Tommy had little time to get the ball downfield and we seemed to shift more to the run to avoid his interceptions.

Yeah, good to have two great options though.
Robinson is a lot more athletic though. I'm torn. Plus, Allen is already a tall target anyway.
I like Rafdals size. But who knows who could end up being better. I'll take him because he's 6'7" I like that.
Rafdal because he's from INWho do you guys like better Rafdal or Robinson? I assume we probably take whoever wants N first

My guess is it was Grimes he was referring too and the position criticism was because of Calvin situation.
I'd love for it to be Beal.
He said it as if it were a big secret. (I know trying to sell subscriptions) He said he was very surprised we were getting a visit but trusted his source.
Meaning not WR?On 1620 the zone yesterday they were talking of a surprise visitor "of a position of need that's been highly criticized". I think it was Shaffer

Yeah. Seems like during dead periods everyone around here panics and then when the staff hits the road they are money.
Its almost like the staff didnt panic and let things play out.....This board is so bipolar sometimes. I think everyone wanted to kill the staff last week, "we can't get big time recruits to Nebraska", and all that nonsense. Look at the attitude today. Wish we could find an even keel here.
It was a bummer to go 0/4 last week but i also had faith that things would work themselves out. Still need a few commits still but feeling better.

WR U, coming this fall.
-
That was my thought too but I'm all sorts of pumped up today.People on other boards saying Bookie might have committed too.
His tweet was very suggestive, but I imagine his recruiting process is nowhere near being done....

Do Hawkins players like him too?Can we hire the Salesian HC as new asst?
Help us land Lewis, Johnson, Hall.

One kid lives 5 hrs away and one lives 20 some hrs away.
Never bad mouthed his decision. If he wants to stay on the west coast, stay on the west coast. Id rather that happen then him coming to Nebraska and realizing he wants to be home and transferring like Grim did this season. Recruit kids that are 100% sure they want to be here. Kids like Jaevon McQuitty for example. My goodness. I work with HS kids daily and coach them. We all get overwhelmed when faced with certain decisions. He was about ready to uproot his entire life and move far away from home for the next 4-5 years. At the last minute, "cold feet" set in, which happens to all of us.....and if you deny that, then I am sorry that you have never had to make an important decision on your own before....good luck when you do......
At the last minute, it becomes overwhelming and the idea of staying close to home with your best friend sure sounds safe and great ! Once you have time to take a deep breath, re-evaluate the circumstances and re-assure yourself about your initial thoughts, then things become more clear.
For all of you people saying....."wishy-washy"....let him go elsewhere if he doesn't want to be here..... CRAP !
Get a clue on how 17-18 year old kids think and then look at buying a house half-way across the country and move away form your computer out of your comfort zone......then don't have any hesitation when a the it's time to leave......now add a national tv audience...
Let the kid make a decision without badmouthing his decision.

I think confirms some sort of curse on Nebraska when it comes to hats. Kids want to pick us but then some black magic makes them choose places that Oregon State. 😀Schaefer kind of let it slip that Calvin told Nebraska he made a mistake Saturday after the game.. atleast that's how I interpreted it.

Ityartmit (I think you are reading too much into this). 😀
Yes i know. Im saying it just seemed different to me than that. Im not saying im right, but imo(in my opinion) it just seemed like something was off.
If your talking about when he picked I took the voice thing as being nervous. Speech or public speaking classes you hear some kids who are comfortable speaking to a lot of people sound like that.
It was cracking pretty much the whole time. Just really weird imo. Could be nothing but to me it seemed like something was there and pretty obvious the coaches were surprised.
Momma and her helicopter. And Mav, if you think that was just emotions after long drawn out decision you need to watch it again. That was like no commitment ive seen. He seemed distraught to me.I really dont think that was the case. He qualified for ND for petes sake, and isn't there some qualifying requirements for the Army game?
It wouldnt have been a surprise to Coach Dub, and Riley wouldnt have retweeted him this morning if it was an academic issue. I do think he panicked for some reason - dont know why.
Eh, people see what they want to see I guess. His voice completely cracks when he talks about playing with his best friend.

Can we update the title on this profile? Pretty please

When did he seem like this? After he put on the hat?

Yeah, 0/0 would actually be better than 0/4 because everyone wouldn't feel so sad.If we want to beat Wisconsin and Iowa on a routine basis and compete and be able to be in a position to beat Ohio State and Michigan, we HAVE to be getting the Foster Sarell's and Darnay Holmes. I like being on the table, but let's not pretend it makes a lick of a difference unless we actually get them.

Take those feelings and just hold them inside. Until they burst out years from now in a fit of uncontrollable rage.Reason 1: You're dumb
