I mean you can see that the team plays way better than they have the last few years. Literally every play maker is a freshman or sophomore

Go to Cincinnati and pray Fickell to Lincoln. You want tough, Tressellball??? There ya go.
Lets get the guy who couldn't post a winning season at Ohio state, in a season sandwiched between 12-win seasons.

Luke is obviously the best QB for the offense.
Team STILL doesn't know how to step on the opponents throat in the second half
90% of playmakers being from 2019 recruiting class gives me optimism

I'm thinking Texas 06

Just kidding, but I remember people wanting that in 2013 when they last replaced the turf in the stadium. I'm just hoping this time we can get something with less of that lime green fake looking grass and maybe subdue the green candy cane vibe a little bit.

4 of the 5 are not worthy of announcing..OSU has some history at least. If your going to waste a stadium money shot at least have some logos with gusto
That's the other thing. 15 years to plan this out and we're guna be playing...drumroll.....UTEP!!!!!!! SMH

Nothing is more of a joke than college football scheduling. Let me ask my 2 year old if he wants to attend Neb vs. Ok St. when hes a senior in high school. Why does college basketball put together in the offseason and football needs 15 years to prep a schedule? The Olympics dont even get that much of heads up.

I would say the new decade starts when the number in the tens column rolls over.

This is a good reminder because I feel like we sometimes dont realize that we aren't the only team struggling in a given season. We often say "this is so embarrassing" and stuff like that but really most opposing fans probably dont care.

The Huskers will probably be good again at some point in the future. There is also a very good chance that we will all be dead when that happens. Someone on a Cubs Message board posted a topic like this in the 1920s, but didnt make it to see his team escape from the hold of father time

that soul crushing loss to hated Iowa.
Why? I want to see us beat hated Creighton in basketball this Saturday.
But if we lose to Creighton, I'm definitely jumping into The Dredge. At that point, there will be no reason for me to live. Losing to Iowa and Creighton in the same year is just unbearable. What has happened to the once mighty Huskers? How can we keep losing to those loser schools, Creighton and Iowa. Losing to Creighton, in particular, galls me. It is a tiny private school while we are the state's land grant college and the flagship of the state university system. We have way more athletic money than those people in Omaha. I can't tell you how disgusted and frustrated I am about this Creighton series. I wished we didn't even play them. I'd much rather play the likes of Drake or South Dakota State.
We might have won that Iowa game if you people would have organized that Ritual Exorcism of Husker Nation that I begged you to do. But nooooo. Nobody listens to Thurston from Pender.
My only question is, does The Dredge need to be capitalized?

Well at least we wont see anymore tweets from him about Nebraska until we make a bowl...

It is America. But online forums, including this one, are not democracies; they have to be run in a sort of mild dictatorship or things get out of hand and the flavor and character of the place can go south fast.
True, but now that I think about it theres probably some people posting on here from places not in America

We won't be "back" till our O line becomes good and deep. That takes years. I chose 2022 because I think that's the earliest we could have a well developed O line with some of our good young linemen becoming upper classmen like Benhart and Piper.
This is also assuming that the coaching staff is going to develop these players on a "normal" timeline. Putting a lot of eggs in the Greg Austin basket

Hard to be overly optimistic at this point as Nebraska has beat 4 teams with a combined win total of 5 wins.

Lets finish this out
