IDK -- I just feel like Bo is telling fans what they want to hear. He's a pacifier. Every year it's the same thing. Last year it was Wyoming, and afterwards people were saying, "Wyoming's a good team, they will probably win their conference..." and we saw how that turned out. Then we got smacked down at home by UCLA, and people were saying how UCLA was a national title contender... and we saw how that turned out. Tired of seeing us get outmuscled and out coached by inferior teams year-in and year-out. There's obviously a problem with getting the team properly prepared and fired up, ready to play.

I, for one, am very surprised that Stanton isn't the starting QB this year, especially w/ all the hype he had at the QB camps coming out of HS.

Just seems like it's the same story, different year. Every summer I hear about how great the team has looked at practice, how intense they have been, etc... then the season starts and the team struggles against an inferior opponent. McNeese, Wyoming, Fresno St., SDSU... the list goes on. The schedule is so soft that Bo is essentially guaranteed 9 wins, and the trend of mediocrity continues. I think it's about time that Nebraska fans look at themselves in the mirror and ask, "Is this really the best we can get?" I have no doubt that next up will be some blowout losses to conference opponents, in which 50+ points is given up...
