Thanks to all the husker fans for voting for our McNeese State Cowboys.
Would also like to THANK every husker fan who greeted us a few weeks ago. We got many, "welcome to lincoln", good luck tomorrow, hope you have fun, etc. etc. etc. before and after the game. AWESOME fans, the best we have ever met.
also we had 23 mcneese fans at misty's steak house(not downtown) friday night before the game. we had a blast with all your fans. the pep band, cheer leaders and your mascot were there at 7pm & at 8 pm. they played our fight song. we enjoyed the, goooooooooooooooooooooo biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggggg rrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddddddddddd, and we countered with our geaux cowboys!
best fans ever! did i mention that before, BEST FANS EVER!!!!!! our 2nd trip to lincoln for a ball game. we met friends in mexico years ago and we stayed at their house both times. we toured memorial stadium on friday, had a free burger outside the stadium from lolo? burgers who our friend works for. toured the farmers market on friday too.
our athletic budget is about 10.5 million dollars, nebraskas budget is about 105 million. so, the $415,000.00 we received for the trip was well worth. THANK YOU!
