  1. well, would like to see her stick around and compete, but, if she wants to go to a school where she knows she is gonna play---so be it. i read elsewhere kent state, but, that's rumor. for some, one national championship experience is enough.

  2. bit of tough news on the future husker sam haiby---tore the lateral meniscus in her left knee. was having mri (tues or wed?) done to diagnose extent of injury, but, haven't been able to find any news on results.

idk what is going on but this site is having some real issues---------anyway, as far as haiby, had surgery but received good news and is expected back in a couple weeks or so.

  3. based on what little i have seen, i have only read the quote "medical reasons". unless olivia and/or her family decide to inform the fans, we may never know---having said that, i would be a little surprised if olivia doesn't give an interview at sometime in the near future. it's also possible it may not be injury related.

  4. jmo, but, going by some of the things i have read about chronic knee problems, along with coach riley's comments that tre had this problem while in high school and that his knees are those of a much older person-------i have to really wonder if fans see much of tre again. think this was a big gamble by the staff and may have lost. don't get me wrong, wish nothing but the best for tre and would love to see him return......but, with those knees...

the women's bb team may have a similar problem with rachel blackburn. i noticed in one photo she has big braces on both knees. she missed last season and really have to wonder how much they will get out of her the rest of her career.

Improve the walk on program. Any other long term goals that he wants to accomplish in the next 60 days?

while watching the live feed, that comment did strike me a little odd---------if your only going to be hear for 60 days? but, who knows.......

  6. Amazing how this program went from an athletic, fun to watch machine to the current crap show. Seem slower and almost uncoordinated in all facets of the game

not really a shocker is it? after all that happened with coach yori, romeo leaving, recruits dropping their commitments. then you have rachel blackburn and her chronic knee situation. not out of the realm of possibility she may not play again-----or playing time limited. hard to say with "chronic" knees. hoping for the best. a lot to deal with for coach williams. also, dw was injured against cal. could be more bad news. unless coach williams hits a "diamond-in-the-rough" very, very soon....probably going to be a bumpy road for a few years.

  7. Ryun is at Colorado State. 1 mil buyout may have been a factor. He's having success there too.

isn't meant in any way to be a sexist comment, but, being a female coach in wbb is a huge plus right now and into the future. then, add being a good one...bingo! i was very happy she gets a shot at nebraska.

  8. I am fine with giving him time...it sounds like you are saying year 6 would be "his year"

A guy posted on another board that AD Sean wanted to give him a new contract after last season but Miles said he would wait...assuming that this year they would be really good and he would have even more leverage...interesting if true.

richard pitino may be available---if not before then. :snacks: heard a guy from minnesota radio sports being interviewed today and he stated his sources tell him that pitino does not like it over at the "u" and really hates the weather. he expects pitino to consider openings that may come up.
