An OWH reporter went to his house and Tressel's dog barked twice. They took that as a confirmation that he wasn't coming. Coupled with the article where they called his dentist yesterday, it's pretty air tight.

It looked like they had it worked out to bring him back in, but don't think it ever happened. Why not take the job? Is he waiting for JT to land?

This seems similar to how he hired Larranga at Miami. SE was hired and extended an offer to Larranga a day after he was hired.
