Here's a list of all of the assistant coaches and tertiary staff members Riley has brought on, courtesy of the OWH.
The hot rumor about a lot of these guys is, they're good at recruiting. Who are those recruiting gurus? What's their experience?
Wait... "Mark Banker, DC for Oregon State"
Is that the only thing he's done? Like, did he not coach football ever and then became the DC at OSU?
Did he win the position in a raffle or something?

David HorneThis is very cool. I do wonder though, which Husker alum I would rather see in the photo in Jackson's place though? Rozier? A Green? Hmmmm? Who would you all want?
Correll Buckhalter
Matt O'hanlon
Kellen Huston
Joe Ganz
Taylor Martinez
Bill Callahan
Scott Frost

Who the hell is this FriendsForever cat? And what is with the obsession with literally the worst photoshop pictures I've ever seen?
What, what are you talking about. those pictures are real I was there. You ever see bo pelini help any of the players cut his food up into small bits or go get some frozen custard together? This shows that Riley is a good man and a breath of fresh air for both the program and the players.

HuskerOnline.com has been able to confirm Riley's most recent addition to his support staff is Andy Vaughn who will be Director of Football & Recruiting Operations
That Veronica Vaughn... Is one piece of ace

Per Sean Callahan, Philipp introduced himself to several Huskers in San Diego today.
..and tore their shirts off.
And picked them up by his big, burley arms and gave each one a kiss

They are going to get their picture taken together, hence the "Photo" sign in the back. That's where you can get a photo of just you and your best friend

You can call your boss anything and everything you want to. But, there are times and places to call your boss a c*** and p****, and this moist certainly wasn't.
Some of the places and times you can rant and call your boss a c*** and d******* are:
- in your sleep
- at the dentist
- to your wife or husband
- to the person at the drive through when waiting for your food
- to the airline pilot when boarding
- to your co-pilot (make sure he or she isn't your boss)
- to your new friend, Mr. Walkie Stickie, who you met while hiking and happened to find it laying on the ground with other Mr and Mrs Walkie Stickies
- to your new boss
- alone in the dark
- into a seashell
- at the zoo to a Panda bear who is up close to the window
- to your kid's best friend
- to the empty beds of the children you wished you had
- to that s*******, Mike, who sucks and keeps saying how cool he is and well-traveled for having visited NYC for a week and you're like "but I lived in Holland and Italy for years. I even studied in Singapore! NYC is dumb. What a s******."
- in a field and playing with army men

Hey do you guys remember the time we hired Oregon St's head coach for HC at Nebraska?
Lol, what was that all about.
-
I'd rate his performance as fantastic with a side of poop. He's going out, talking to recruits, saying the right things, being a coach yada yada. And that's great because it's been awhile to see an actual coach for once.
But he is being poopy in regards to hiring a staff. Nebraska being thrifty and cheap. Overall id rate his staff 4 out of 5 poops. 5 poops being very very poopy.

your probably that guy that doesn't believe that we have not rank in the top 10 NATIONALY as well...."the ranking system is skewed".....LOL
I realize that average stars per player is a concept that you're not familiar with. You're also making it obvious that you don't understand that sheer numbers of recruits affects they overall class ranking.
oh, I don't know...maybe a NATIONAL RANKING SYSTEM.......
Proof that the rest of the nation sees it that way?
ya, me and the rest of the nation...you guys just keep drinking the pelini kool-aid...catch up to the rest of us when your finished..k!!!
No he's not.
unfortunately, YOU are the only one that looks at it that way....like I said, maybe YOU and a few others should rank the classes because rivals, SI and ESPN ALL have this class listed as sub-par....but then again, what would they know...right???how so...I understand the math, do you consider 38th to be a solid recruiting class?
I understand our recruiting class to be a solid recruiting class.
The number 38 means very little to me, because it is representative of an imperfect metric that doesn't accurately assess the quality of our class as it pertains to our program.
Get over it man. If you don't like the class, don't like it for an actual reason other than an arbitrary number that lacks context.
This is the same class that was ranked as high as 7th early on in the season. It hasn't dropped because other teams have all the sudden got way better players - it's dropped because other teams have all the sudden got way MORE players. Recruiting rankings highly favor quantity.
I don't know how to make it any more simple for you than it has already been made. If you look at average star rating, which is a better indicator at least of the quality of players overall, we are second in the conference and 21st nationally.
You are that only one looking at it from the way you are spinning the argument.
It was shaping up to be a solid class. The new guy needs to get off his duff and hold it together
When you learn these concepts, those of us that understand them will be happy to discuss it with you further.

I hope you're right here!!!The rumors on OSU's message boards and insider people is he would not be DC rather a position coach if he went with Riley. If I remembered which site I would post the link. Also, we still don't have any rumblings of an OC. Orgeron I think is DL, that spot is still wide open
Please please please please please please please please

that wiki shows he has no DC experience...just LB and DL.... I'd hate to see Kaz go...!!!Hasn't Orgeron only been defensive line coach?
NO.
HE'S COACHED A LOT MORE THAN JUST DL.

I'd love to see Kaz go

I'm still just shocked and still grasping this hire. I know Frost isn't coming, was just wishing to help ease me mind.
But frost IS coming, this Saturday, I think for around Beck's pay. However, the question isn't if he is coming or not, is if he accepts it or not.

I will grab my volleyball and I will go to the stadium and start a fire in the middle of the field and dance and chant all evening for coach O to come here

Are you all still reliving this thread again???
It's 2017. Tressel has been our coach for a while now. So we got screwed out of the playoffs this year at #6. Get over it

40 degree Celsius days though
It gets pretty cold at night out in the outback so make sure to pack plenty of vestsIf Tressel's the hire I'll spend a week of an Australian summer wearing the famed sweater vest
Very nice. I'm in Rome and it's been in the 70F last few days, though it's finally getting to what would be considered "cold"

Christopherson only mentioned that no Athletics Department staff was on the plane...
Therefore confirmed that Harvey & a university Lawyer delivered the papers and got a signature today. Tressel will be on his way after notifying YSU in the AM. Presser tomorrow afternoon. BAM!
Half-Life 3 confirmed

What FootballScoop has to report
"We've talked to a few 'insiders' and we have no clue who Shawn Eichorst will hire. But its not Jim Tressel."
Its Jim Tressel.
Assessing the new coaching staff

I like this staff a lot, they seem very hug worthy but in the back of my mind I think Nebraska went a bit on the cheap side on obtaining a coach. Aw shucks, what if Riley fails? What's Nebraska gonna do then after it's been left behind now for 20 years? Go to the goodwill for another coach?
But I think this staff will do fine I love them and would hug each and every one of them with my own two arm things
