    Down 14, 4:42 and we run. Is this like a Lou Holtz "We're running to see what kind of coverage they were in," type of deal? Knowing the pass is coming, play action doesn't fool anyone. Does it?

    I think I figured out the scheme. Rush 3. Have two linebackers spying the TEs. The WLB is in man coverage against any slot WR, the SLB is in zone coverage to prevent the run. CBs are in Mone coverage (man plus zone) and the S are in Zan. (zone plus man) That's the only sense I can make of this defense.

    We can't make in-game adjustments right now, why would halftime be any different? This scheme of no adjustments where an LB is covering a WR in the slot is not working. No pressure up front is not working.

    Is the drop off so bad from the starters to the second string in the secondary, Diaco stays in the 3-4? I mean how about a 3-3-5? 3-2-6?

    That's the kind of thing which drives me nuts. Slot WR vs backer. WR blows past backer for big gain.

    There are some things I like about this offense. On the flip side, there are times it looks like Bill Callahan is back calling plays which scares the bejeebus out of me.
