All bets are off if he has 3 straight losing seasons. He needs to elevate next year or I can't defend him.

Frost should come out of a coffin????

It’s hard for Husker fans to feel it right now, but you can turn a program around quickly and it doesn’t have to take 20 years... or even 5.
Husker fans... look to the Baylor Miracle. OK, maybe miracle is a bit much, but here’s what they’ve done in a very short time.
In 2015 they had a good record of 10-3. Dismissed the coach as he got caught up in an on-campus scandal. Brought in a caretaker coach in 2016, still got a 7-6 record after much turmoil.
New coach comes in 2017. Recruiting had been scarred so he didn’t have much to work with. Ended up 1-11. People were patient. 2018, they go plus-six-wins over prior year and end up 7-6.
And this year? Just a nice bright sparkling 8 wins, 0 losses.
So, anxious Husker Nation, it can happen. It didn’t take a long time or anything earth-shaking. Just bring in the right guys and let things grow together.
Sure, it’s not an equivalent situation as Huskers have been so Not-Husker-Like for a generation. But with the right mix of guys and a little time, good things can happen quickly. As underachieving as they’ve been, Huskers haven’t been 1-11 in all that time.
And be glad you’re not a football fan in the State of New Mexico. This season, New Mexico Lobos are 2-6, and the other major program in the State - New Mexico State - is 0-8 for a combined 2 wins, 14 losses. Bad football in the Land of Enchantment.
The future is bright, Husker fans. Things either get better or they get worse. And things won’t get worse in the Land of Tall Corn.
I believe in miracles
i believe in a better Nebraska football team for me and you

Nebraska fans may have to accept that Frost may not work out. Then they may be shocked when somebody else pulls a Devaney. Scott is learning on the fly. If he can't get it, Chip would get him a job. He will be ok.
-
If this were Michigan, Frost would not be considered a true Nebraska man for chasing Bill Walsh to Stanford. He is a guilty turncoat

I'm not ready to fire a coach. I go back to how UCF looked with these same coaches. We don't look anything like them. Blockers watching defenders run past them to make an easy tackle, low effort everywhere (thank you announcer for confirming what I've seen). Urb after the game said we've gone from Pelini, Rilely and now Frost and these problems have been present throughout. I don't think the Husker defense under Banker was ranked as high as the Beavers. Same coach, different players. As Urb said, time to look under the hood. Something is going on in Lincoln.
Calisuck and Riley were crummy coaches and Pelini was average. Nothing more than that. Their record spells it out.

One year wonders for a central Florida level school are not new. Moos had no choice. Scott needed more seasons to mature though. He wasn't ready for this level and is learning on the job.

Frost is lucky he is a Nebraska alum. He would be getting canned. I think he has plenty of talent as a coach, but is a baby in team management and controlling one's ego.

Frost is a mess

Urban Meyer loves Martinez. He just doesn't handle Frosts system well and with Frost, there is no bend.

Frost makes so many errors despite the good preperation.

Come out like a house of fire then fade into oblivion

No reason to mince words: we are lousy football team that will have to channel everything to win 6 games.

4 loss Bo was going to wear his welcome out
-
I think he hates losing so bad coupled with "Riley's" players apathy, is blowing off steam poorly. He needs to bite his tongue because his recruits are watching.

Riley's jim jonesian appeal which has led to a overly apathetic team, has created a mess. Frost then loses his temper at these guys and the y withdrawal to worship Riley even more. It's a mess. A house of horrors.

Frost should do a Angry Chair remake replacing Layne Staley in the video

So Frost isnt "buying in"?
He needs to get Riley's guys to buy in

Scott is not blameless. His defensive staff is poor. Take note Urban Meyer completely overhauled his 2013 defensive staff after a poor showing and Day did after a poor showing last year. It's not a crime if your wrong. Evaluating yourself fairly is the mark of a good coach

We had the more talented team. Their players just wanted it more.

Frost's seat isn't even warm. They knew it would take a while thats why tbey gave him a 7 year contract. Unfortunately its gonna take a minimum of seven years for chin and dewitt to remove their heads from there asses.
Not if he has 3 straight losing seasons. He will be fired. This game has to be the bottom for Scott.

The program is in crisis for sure. Frost is on the hot seat. Part of what made Riley so dangerous is the cult like Jim Jonesian effect he had on his players. It may drag Frost down.

Frustrations of the fan base

This team is flirting with its 3rd straight losing season. You better believe we are mad. Frost is the coach. He is getting the heat. Winning out for here would go a long way you know Scott. We are at our lowest point.
