  1. If Tommy gets the start and is healthy, I think it's definitely an advantage for us.

If Fyfe is starting...I don't even know how to finish that sentence.

Practice reports indicating Tommy will not play and is questionable for Iowa... no source cited, just grapevine speak... 'member berries!

Hear Pierson El may get a turn with a snap since he was a QB in HS. We can't leave it up to Fyfe... as much as that sucks to say, it's the truth.

  2. Bet there will be a huge turn out for the Spring Game... not that there is any merit to the practice, but I bet people are eager to see what all the Tanner hype is about.

shhh.... I'm whispering so as not to upset anyone.

  3. Rolex performance will not come from Timex money... I'll be saying this until a "name" is hired.

Riley has a few years left for sure. What he does with them will define or defile him... he should be wise enough to know what is and isn't working and if he isn't, then the sooner he goes the better.

As far as fair weather, I read it before... those cats should be long gone by now. I won't lie, even I think about turning in my season tickets and going with a new team... all but for heart have I lost faith in this program. I started attending games in 94, if not for attending games I probably wouldn't care what happens to this program. I like to think we, as fans, are part of something bigger than ourselves when in that stadium. Losing at home should never be acceptable, let alone losing anywhere to anyone... but it seems the expectations are lowered and I am not content being part of that mindset.

    Win Red.... WIN!!!

When have we ever had lockdown corners?

    Dennard and Amukamara?

    Haag and Gomes....

I'm not sure I would these guys "True Lockdown" corners. Yes they had/have NFL talent, but you also have to look at the D-Line they played with.

When it came their way, they were on lock... granted the line was key, but there was ability at corner when they were here and I always had that "I dare them to throw on us" mentality.

  5. When Nebraska entered the B1G, I remember our schedule was brutal... all the big boys wanted a shot at us, and they got it. I wonder if Barry Alvarez is whining or has a legitimate complaint about scheduling; although, to be the best you must beat the best.

Sorry if this is a violation of board rules in posting a link to the story, thought it was interesting to see the topic come up...especially from the source from which it originated.

  6. Does anyone know if security is strict about the no drinking in Haymarket? I've heard just put it in red solo cups and that is adequate. First time trying to tailgate before the game

Red cups are always full of alcohol. Just don't advertise what you're drinking and you shouldn't have an issue. Also, if you are a cannabis smoker (Oregon visitors asked this question a few times), keep it on the DL, best bet is to avoid crowds or go back to your car and not advertise or tempt fate. Enjoy the game!
