Yeah, by that time I had to leave or face jail... I was smokin hot when I left, again, not because we lost... I can face that we got beat by a one man team, but the MU fans just trash talked from the 1st touchdown, right up to when we tied it up... then it was quiet. As soon as they scored again, they brought their trash back out.

They really should call it Trailer Park University!!

smoke up johnny! MU is using the old NU offense, which is ok if you have ONE good player and a bunch of blind refs. But, seeing that NU has the best recruits in their division, I would say its a matter of time before you jump on the West Coast band wagon.

Also, if you dont go to NU games, then your opinion doesnt count and no one cares what you say.

no doubt... those refs are on the take or as blind as helen keller. Take your pick, but in either case, we need NEW refs!! the big 12 officiating is a disgrace... its rigged, skewed and biased... you know they are crooks, thats why the refs wear black and white striped shirts!!

The mizzou brad smith's are in trouble next year when they lose their ONE good player and come to OUR house in Lincoln. I am going to thrash every mizzou fan I see, and I suggest you do the same... they will do it to you if given the chance!

I made the comment to the mizzou fans about BS, and they agreed and went further to say "IF we beat NU, then we (mizzou) should get NU's best player", so even they (mizzou fans) know that their team is 2nd rate and built around one player.

The officiating would have been better done by Helen Keller... those refs were on the take, if you think otherwise, then you didnt watch the game or you are just plain stupid.

Is anyone on this board going to the first game?? I will be there with Big Red guns blazing!! I certainly hope everyone is as lucky as I to be part of a historical night for Nebraska football this coming Saturday.

Wow!! Thanks you guys!! Usually, when I am that outspoken, people use it as a chance to slam me. I just want to thank you for being open minded about it... a win is a win is a win is a win, and thats what the Skers are expected to do. We as fans are expected to support the team, win or lose... its just alot easier to do with a W for the week.

The bars arent far from Memorial stadium either. You can get a beer pitcher of "hooch" at Sandy's for $7 and its good stuff!! 16th & O I believe... heck, there are so many bars and tailgate parties, you wont have far to go for a drink! But dont be a drunk bass terd, no one likes that!!

The past is the past... it boils down to one thing, recruiting. Lord was the worst choice Solich made as head coach, not that it was the final nail in his coffin. How many games can a coach lose at home before we see there is something wrong? Growing pains aside, Solich never took responsibility for the losses, it was always excuse this and excuse that... wheres the leadership in those actions??

I BELIEVE IN BILL, as should all TRUE Husker fans. The program isnt about the coaches, its about the players and tradition. Being a 1 dimensional team for decades has made NU football predictable and vulnerable to loss. We arent changing who WE are, we are HUSKERS no matter who the coach is. As I said, it boils down to recruiting... when was the last time we have had top 10 recruits for multiple positions (at least 5 different spots) commit to Nebraska?? New Blood means new talent... and thats what wins games these days!!

Respect, the football tradition leading to this season has been monumental and remarkable, but how long can we want WAIT for another National Title?? We have the tradition of a top 5 school, Pedersen and Callahan are doing what it takes to make that tradition a reality in the trophy case.
