Only concern with that is that is could create more controversy in the locker room. A one and done senior could send the wrong message. After yesterday, I'm certainly not opposed to it.

It could for sure. But the right guy could win the locker room over.

I've been a TA fan from the start, but my love for the Huskers supercedes that. Bring someone in that is better and I'll thank TA for his time here.

POB will be a true freshman. However, he will have the advantage of going through spring practice. That could make it more realistic that he plays a major role early in his career at Nebraska.

That's the first time for Indiana since joining the B1G,isn't it?

 

 

 

Iowa came in averaging 6.0 ypp and giving up 4.8 ypp.

Today they gained 5.7 ypp and gave up 5.2 ypp.

 

Nebraska came in averaging 6.2 ypp and giving up 5.8 ypp.

Good stats...so we held them to fewer yards per play, fewer points per game, and much fewer total yards per game. Had we just had a QB that is average and could manage a game, we would have won today's game easily.

A start propped up by two plays. Over all the defense played better. Don't sh#t in the Wheeties just because you want pop tarts.

It wasn't so bad. Roads were good coming from SW Iowa. It was cold in the stadium but I don't recall ever feeling the wind.

The rhetoric is heating up on my Facebook page. I would guess that 25% of my 300 + followers are Iowa fans.

There's nothing wrong with that feeing. But people need to slow down on the koolaid. Whatever bowl we go to will not be a "good bowl"

In my humble opinion there are only 3 "good bowls" anymore. If you're not in the top 4 you won't play in any of them.

That doesn't mean the others won't be fun.

This isn't a black and white world. The Capitol One bowl is miles better than the Pinstripe Bowl.

Any bowl is "better" than none. Better doesn't equal good. I agree with your comparison tho.
