Hey Guys, My Dad ( Brad Jenkins) played Tight End for the Skers back in 1975 ( the year I was born). Then he coached with Tom as a grad assistant in 85 & 86. Needless to say, my brothers and have bled red for 4 decades. I am now living in Nashville, TN and I am a musician. My buddies and I wrote a song called "Throw Tha Bones", dedicated to the black shirts. You can listen FOR FREE on YouTube. Or you can download it on iTunes. I put my heart and soul into this project for all you guys !!! It seriously ROCKS ! ( I used to play guitar for Pillar, so I promise it sounds TOP NOTCH). The husker Marketing Dept told me last year that they started playing it at all the home games on 3rd down & short ( near the end of the season). The only game I went to last year was the Miami game so I haven't got to hear it in the stadium myself. The chorus of the song was inspired from the words on the side of the stadium: "not the victory, but the action, not the goal but the game, in the deed the GLORY".
