If we aren't careful this game is going to slip out from under us.

Overall had a great half...way to keep their composure after the turnovers.  D stepped up big as well....I really hope Frost can somehow bring a great defense back to Lincoln like the old days.  I'm not sure we can win a NT by outscoring opponents.

Jr year highlights

Kid is from my area....never seen him play besides YouTube  but my friend coaches high school ball here...they scrimmaged against Martinez the last two years....says he's pretty legit!

As @ThroughTheseGates mentioned previously, Frost probably wants a QB who can run.....I don't think I've ever seen a QB with less mobility than Lee...deer in headlights when he tries to scramble.

Fair enough and I can't....I just remember those teams having a lot of great talent coming from walk-on program.

Recruiting is always crucial but what made NU great in the glory days was their walk on program....they were churning out All-Americans that started as walk-ons left and right. 

Now that Frost is coming back to NU, the tears in his eyes at the end of the game answered that question...I'm sure he told the team before the game....who do we get for a D coordinator???  Frost will get this offense going but we need to bring back these classic NU defenses.  UCF looked good all season but that D gave up a lot of points.

Curious how many yards total this season the D has given up and is that the most in history up to this point?

Over 340 yards total offense in the first half alone...this is laughable...what am I watching? 

FFS Barrett can take a nap in the pocket, wake up and still complete the pass.

Absolutely shocking....10th ranked team in the nation? NU should of gave Myer a blank check when they interviewed him.

This is what happens when you hire a mediocre coaching staff from a mediocre school. NU refuses to spend money on a big name coach who can get it done. Should of given Urb a blank check. Worst NU team Ive seen in quite some time.....so boring to watch. Even if we won half of these close games would we really be all that happy? The team would still be terrible just with a better record.

If they are boring to watch, don't. It is a pretty simple concept
