But isn't standing for the national anthem before a sporting event just as equally an empty gesture? What does that accomplish? People have already been supporting our country for years. Gee....did that help anyone?

 

Why should anyone remove their hats inside a place of worship? What does that accomplish? God can still see them with their hat on.

Or at a funeral/wake/procession? Its an empty gesture. The person is already dead. They aren't around to object. It's not helping them.

Ok....I've been around the livestock industry all my life. I even spent 3 years in college as an animal science major.

I have spent many hours in nature hunting and watching nature.

I have never seen two male animals banging each other.

I can send you video of my dog at the dog park. He gets busy with any intact male.

I'm pretty sure he didn't learn it from me.

 

Please tell me you understand what is really going on?

I don't know, but he sure gets excited when we pull into an interstate rest stop.

 

A dog doing that is showing dominance, even a female dog will do that.

You've just interchanged the words "normal" and "natural". If you are going by the definition of "natural" as "occurring in nature", then what you say is true.

The food stamp comment reminded me of a fellow I saw the other day in a Casey's. He was buying like 4 or 5 dollars worth of stuff. His EBT didn't work because of the machine at Casey's was down. So, disgruntled and upset the guy pulled out his wallet, and to my amazement I see a heaping wad of cash in it.

 

I wasn't sure if that is normal or if I should be mad. But I leaned a little bit toward the upset side....
