Wow....wouldn't it be fun if the narrative on Monday was....."It appears the Big Ten West is the best division after Wisconsin destroyed Michigan and Nebraska took care of business against OSU"?

I'm starting to get pumped already for this game.

I think the most likely headline following a win would be "800 hospitalized due to severe alcohol poisoning....due to the Huskers massive victory!  Go Big Red!"

Ohio State will be waiting for the bubble screens, where a Pick Six is always just inches away.

I think we're pretty good with the playcalling that generated 700 yards last week. I just hope the coaches will instruct the players not to commit turnovers.

I hope they've been instructing them not to commit turnovers all year.  Otherwise I think we have a bigger issue on our hands...

The hard part about "stacking the box" against Wisconsin is how well their linemen release from their first block, shove their opposing D-lineman out of the way, and step into the next level to chip a linebacker.

Your defensive linemen have to shift/twist and your linebackers have to stay home and not just get lost in the fray.

Michigan looked terrible in this regard on Saturday.

Michigan looked terrible at about every aspect of football on Saturday.

Hopefully we see some more quick passes, bubble screens etc. Last year we got no pressure on the QB and Dobbins ran wild on us. Hopefully we can flip the script

QB Pressure and Ball Security are the biggest keys, IMO.

God, my generic football platitudes are making me feel like Booger McFarland.

I’d prefer it to be someone who lives in the area, I would like it to be Bud. I like the idea of Jack Hoffman, or you know...maybe nows the time to invite Bo back to campus like I mentioned in another thread. :D

Isn't part of the current gimmick that they have someone "fly in" on their sponsor's jet?  Not that it isn't fake, but don't they have to at least suspend the disbelief...a little bit?

Millen ain't the sharpest tool in the shed. I saw the same thing, it was close but I think he stayed back. It's just hilarious how their line handled it - if he was in the neutral zone, flinching to draw the call works. So does snapping the ball and letting the QB chuck it deep. In neither case is it smart to then remain in your stance as a lineman - even if he was offsides, snapping it means the play is live and your QB won't like the 5 yards in return for getting lit up.

But he was so good as the GM of the Lions.  Think of all those can't miss WRs he drafted!
