  1. Adidas has really been pushing their gear in Cali a lot the last few years, sometimes at a loss, to try and regain some of the market share they have lost over the last few decades. I dont say the west coast because Nike owns Oregon (HQ) and has a large influence in Washington State.

  2. this election isnt about who you think is better. It really is about who are you more afraid of.

Really for me, it comes down to who will do less damage over the next 4 years. Both are horrible candidates for president of a PTA, let alone this country.

  3. If he is convicted of a felony, he will need to go, imo. If he can get a misdemeanor and complete Rehab/AA, i would like to see him be put on probation by the school and given one last chance.

What a bonehead move. WTF was he thinking? 300k a year and he cant afford Lyft/uber/taxi in Lincoln? What an idiot!!!

  4. It would be great if he has a good enough camp to get to QB2. But I am not sure how realistic it is.

I'm not necessarily against a redshirt year - though I think we'd be ahead to roll the dice and see what happens.

But the thing that I don't like is I assume this means he'll be relegated to running the scout team so he won't be getting as much time in our offense.

If he is redshirting, I am not sure being on the scout team is a huge negative. Sure, he won't get as many reps running our O, but he will be facing the #1 D unit every day. That has to have some advantages. (Insert your own joke about our pass D here)

Since we wont be running Langsdorf's offense next year, it may be good to get reps outside of offense designed for a running QB.

There is no doubt if the B1G chooses to expand that it will look East. Especially at UConn. Hartford is the 30th largest TV market in the country. That's bigger than K.C., I believe.

And nobody in Hartford watches UCONN football. Nebraska probably has about the same number of football fans in Hartford as UCONN does.

UCONN may not have a large football following, but basketball is huge there. They have more BB fans than Maryland and Rutgers football fans combined.

  6. No news is good news sometimes. Once you reach the point of traveling by air to your games, it doesn't really matter which airport you land in so Lincoln or LA or wherever, it's a matter of 50 minutes, more or less, in flight time now and then. Compared to a lifetime of benefits from a quality education and the friendships and family one will always have being a part of Husker Nation. The decision is not made until you visit and really to see what life can be like east of the Rockies!

FYI, Seattle to Omaha is roughly 3.5hr flight time. LAX isnt much shorter, but 50 min is quite a stretch.
