Wonder what happens with Houston and Tennessee...

UT is SEC. They maybe drop 1 spot. Houston falls out of the top 10, but not too far IMO 11 or 12. Wouldn't surprise me if we drop a spot or two.
What !! Houston lost to unranked navy team. They will fall 10 spots min. Losing is automatic 4-5 spot drop in the polls these days. What neb needed was tenn to beat A&M then lose to Bama next week. Heck Michigan st dropped 9 spots after losing to wisky in a battle of two similar ranked teams.

Neb will move up two spots min. Most likely we will end up at 9. No way does fl st move up 14 spots with 2 bad losses. No other team won impressively thats ranked immediately behind us and 4 teams behind us lost.

What I'm trying to figure out why you think we will drop 2 spots ?

Thanks for good ole laugh. Needed a good knee slapper this morning. Tmart #1. Good lord.

    Crouch

    Frazier

    Gill

    Frost

    Pick anybody.

    *rolls eyes*

It's not funny or ridiculous to pick Martinez as one of the top QBs we've ever had. He wasn't surrounded by the talent and dominating lines that the QBs you listed had.

Never said he wasn't a top qb. Not just number one. I'd put him at 5 with gdowski and lord.

Don't forget a poss FSU upset if Miami and we could be staring at 9

Yup. I'm also keeping an eye on Oregon/Washington. Even though they've had some really bad games I still wouldn't count them out.

On Oregon upset would be very beneficial for the huskers.

I'm surprised Oklahoma is still ranked, and NO ...... Iowa should not be receiving points at all !

Looking at their schedules, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Oklahoma wins out, getting into the top ten with a 10-2 record. Aside from Houston, they've only lost to Ohio State thus far. No shame in that.

As for Iowa, ... to me they are still dangerous enough to be a threat in all of their games, but more in a spoiler role than a legitimate division contender. I don't see them being ranked again this year, but getting votes? Sure, why not?

With Houston losing to navy. That OU loss to Houston is now a bad loss.
