Urban wins.  If you can get him here for even 3 years recruits begin to come , winning begins, culture changes.   For me best case scenario would be to work with him, ask him to bring his heir apparent with him and when he is ready he leaves and hands over the team.   He is just a hired gun to change things and make himself a bunch of money. I’m tired of being an embarrassment.   Nobody in their right mind should thing we can be what we once were in the 99s but we should be able to win 8-10 games a year consistently again. Bring in the absolute best proven coach we can no matter what. 

I hope I eat my words but it is time to move on.  5 years of same pathetic effort.  Same stupid mistakes by players and more importantly coaching, namely the head coach.  

After what I just saw.  I don’t see more than 4 wins.  Coaching was horrible capped with the onside kick.  Just stupid.   I can’t understand how frost won games at UCF.   

Short outside passes work.  Short passes in middle yards gained.  So why not stop that and throw 2 up the middle into double coverage.  Great idea

Does anyone know?  Does Frost have another job at like hyvee or something waiting so he wants to be fired?

Be lucky to get 6 wins.   Frost will be gone as he should be.  He can’t lead this team.    UCF was a fluke   Time to move on

I say screw ND.  If they want to drag their feet then they are not needed.  No one team is that important.   I say grab Oregon , Washington, even Stanford now and get those NW televisions.   Then go grab North Carolina, Duke and Kansas.   Have one of the 2 best football and the best basketball plus some more east coast presence.   Move quickly and kill the big 12 and pac 12 

Wanda let Robinson just won a bowl game for his team so I’m going to go with huge loss.  Having a player like that this year, a few of those close games go our way.

i agree....crap kicker(s).  defense is playing strong if you dont make it....and what the hell do you have to lose?  winning this game should be the only chance frost has to stay at nebraska.

i have watched a few ohio state games...funny how they always seem to get a call or no call when they are in trouble

What benefit is there to keeping a coach for 3 more games that will likely push more talented kids to the portal.   How many has he lost already??

I get tired of seeing posts about why people still come to the games.  Or we should let the streak stop to prove a point.    
the only thing we have is that streak.  It is the only thing we have to offer a new coach or recruit.   We don’t have talent for a new coach.  We don’t have winning tradition any longer for recruits.   What we have is 90,000 passionate fans with hope or at least loyalty to the team.   And that should not stop because the coach sucks.  Or the players aren’t getting it done.  
The streak is our only commodity right now.   
and hell, memorial stadium is still a magical place to go no matter what

If Scott has any integrity he negotiates a nice settlement that earns his family nice money but yet leaves some on the table to better his “home state” team’s chances to get someone else.  Plus it helps Nebraska if it is a mutual separation.   That would be the honorable thing to do.   

Look.  Scott was the hot coach when we hired him.  A home run.  Just didn’t work out.  Move on and try again
