Man, this year broke me.  Gotta admit.  I was on the hype train like crazy AGAIN this year.  Never again.  Prove it on the field.  Not that hot of a take I wouldnt think.

Still doesn't make sense why Mccaffery wasn't playing the 2nd half against Iowa.  Why leave an injured, underperforming AM in over LM?  What's the endgame?

Im not saying that the coaching is great, but at some point the players need to get sick of getting their a## kicked and play smarter and tougher.  They need to get self motivated and be a team out there.

Well coaching changes havent done crap for 20 years, so shut up and keep blaming coaches for everything.

This ones on the players.  They dont care.  Coaches can only do so much.  The players need to excecute and play with some heart.

I wonder if the kids on all the teams the last 20 years just let the pressure of being at Nebraska get to them.

Was it though? Michigan sure, but at least OSU, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois are better this year than last. Probably Colorado and Iowa as well. Purdue was better last year, but that was still a mediocre team. Michigan State had their worst offense of all time last year. On paper last year was a tougher schedule, I don't really believe it was in reality.

That's a good way to look at it actually.  

I honestly think the progress shown has more to do with our opponents than it does us.  Last year's schedule was brutal, this year not so much.

They want it more than we do. Again.

I assume they got to see 1 full practice for each team. It's gotta be part of the contract that they do this and I doubt they'd send the bus all the way to each school from some coach to be secretive and kick them out after 20 minutes.
