Man, this year broke me. Gotta admit. I was on the hype train like crazy AGAIN this year. Never again. Prove it on the field. Not that hot of a take I wouldnt think.

Don't care. Prove it on the field.

Still doesn't make sense why Mccaffery wasn't playing the 2nd half against Iowa. Why leave an injured, underperforming AM in over LM? What's the endgame?

I have a gut feeling we will beat at least one of the bolded. Now that the manhood has been questioned of this team, we're either going to come out on fire or we're going to fold like a cheap lawn chair.
Dude, this was two weeks ago. They should have played like they were on fire last week.

Do you think the coaching is good?
On O, PA has been open all game. They are putting 9 in the box. Selling out to stop it....Where is Mills?
Im not saying that the coaching is great, but at some point the players need to get sick of getting their a## kicked and play smarter and tougher. They need to get self motivated and be a team out there.

This ones on the players. They dont care. Coaches can only do so much. The players need to excecute and play with some heart.

What a crazy half. Up and down.

I wonder if the kids on all the teams the last 20 years just let the pressure of being at Nebraska get to them.

Was it though? Michigan sure, but at least OSU, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois are better this year than last. Probably Colorado and Iowa as well. Purdue was better last year, but that was still a mediocre team. Michigan State had their worst offense of all time last year. On paper last year was a tougher schedule, I don't really believe it was in reality.
That's a good way to look at it actually.

I honestly think the progress shown has more to do with our opponents than it does us. Last year's schedule was brutal, this year not so much.
-
They want it more than we do. Again.

Im falling asleep watching this snoozefest. Where are the halftime adjustments???

You ready for this hot take?
Here we go....
This will backfire and Trump's approval rating will skyrocket.

I'm now reminded of an old SNL sketch where they say "penis" like 150 times.
Which reminded me of the "soaking cork" skit.

I dont understand how they were not serious until now. Maybe they were too confident to start the year. But I guess I thought part of the culture change was doing things the right way, taking 1 opponent at a time, being dialed in and practicing the right way.
Now it sounds like they were still messing around but now they are serious? I dont get it
Its not going to play well after the game if your going to do well now cause your serious- but then go get waxed on the field. No one will listen to anything they say anymore.
Exactly.

Gonna have to do a lot better than "They are serious now".

OK....clarify something.
How can an individual player violate a Title IX regulation?
No idea, but he was hinting at something serious. Benning being cryptic as per usual.

Benning mentioning Title iX

I remember hearing Benning talk about the weed problem, and that Frost was going to have to make an example out of somebody.

I assume they got to see 1 full practice for each team. It's gotta be part of the contract that they do this and I doubt they'd send the bus all the way to each school from some coach to be secretive and kick them out after 20 minutes.
So do they have a better idea of what we can do vs the local media guys?
