Seriously--what successes has Trump had on the jobs front that weren't already initiated or aided by progress/work laid by the Obama Administration?

There's already been ample proof that any economic or job gains are merely riding the coattails of the Obama administration--but I have yet to see any proof that Trump, of his own volition and without any momentum from the Obama Administration, brought jobs back to the United States.

The economy is fine, dude. Wealthy people are doing really well. I did hear Forbes said there's less billionaires this year compared to last year and they own slightly less wealth. There go those damn socialists again.

Working people are doing marginally better or about the same as always, despite the promises and the dogged Trump supporters who claim their income has skyrocketed thanks to tax relief.

I'll ask you: Is the economy continuing to do well worth all the corruption and graft and greed and hubris and illegality of this administration? Because Hillary likely would have done similar things for the economy. I'd contend working schmoes would probably be better off.

I'm sure she would not have done this well.  Jobs needed to be brought back to the US, and Trump was the man to do it.

She wouldn't have been as openly, smugly corrupt, no.

She would've been more like normal politician corrupt. Which would be an improvement.

And, she'd, you know, know what she was doing, and junk. There was a time when that mattered.

    So how's the economy doing?

By whom? The Republican-held congress? C'mon.

They have. So far there are convictions and/or cooperation by Trump's:

    Campaign Chairman

    Lawyer

    National Security Advisor

    Campaign Staffer

    Campaign Advisor

What do you think has been going on the past two years?

Well,  hopefully we can agree that the economy is growing.  All we hear is the bad/"fake news" about Trump.  I honestly want to know more about the good he's done.

I'm more than willing to say both Cohen and Trump are pieces of crap.  How do you feel about every single person that comes out of Trump's inner circle tells the same types of stories?

I have a lot of thoughts about that, but I'm sure they aren't true.  I guess what it comes down for me is that this Russian collusion thing doesn't seem to have any real evidence, and that's what they've been hanging their hats on this whole time.

Not necessarily - but certainly the items he has brought as evidence that support his comments most likely did.

And then why aren't the R's drilling down to what he is saying today to prove him wrong?  They're scared to go there.

Honestly, at this point in this, I don't really know who to believe.  The thing is though: What's the goal of all of this?  Is it to impeach? Because if so, I don't think they have the evidence for that.

How do you feel about the fact that not one R has questioned whether his testimony is true?  They're snowing you by talking about his past lies instead of acknowledging the issues and evidence that they're there to discuss today.  Don't fall for it.  They're yelling "squirrel".

So everything Cohen says today actually happened?

So, you believe that anyone who has ever been caught in a lie or deception can not be trusted with telling the truth.

    Is that your opinion?

No.  But the level of scrutiny the Republicans face in the media?  There's no level of consistency.  If we are to hold some people to certain standards, but not others, that's what I don't agree with.

Are you actually watching the hearing?

    I am.

  9. I think the Republicans are right in asking about Cohen's lying and credibility.  And I love when he was asked about recording people, and Cohen said "I don't", then 30 seconds later said "I've recorded about 100 times", plus where's the hard evidence to impeach Trump?  I mean, isn't this the endgame for the Democrats?
