Just browsing realtor like normal and found this. Not bad digs he's giving up! Assuming the jerseys in the basement give it away that it's his..- 1

Seems to be a trend when Green is on the bench...
Noticed the same thing. Take that W and run.

Interestingly, the lunch pail went to a Purdue oline commit. So someone we'll get to see yearly.
Glad to see our guys getting noticed!

I thought this was a joke at first. Then I thought if you were being serious, it would be peak OWH and I should look.
It’s peak Old Weird Herod.
He's serious. it was a quiet day for both according to OWH.

Listed as a top 5 performer on his team in the game. 4.5 tackles. 2.5 for loss. One sack.
Nice day against top competition!

Not that caliber in the entire country once a decade and the chances the next one are in big 10 are even slimmer odds
Not really.. I mean Eponesa at Iowa, Barnett at Tennessee, Karlaftis is going to be really good at Purdue. We have played great ones and will continue to do so. Maybe not as good as Young but you better find tackles that can ball or you're going to look silly against good teams.

Ohio State really leaned on him down the stretch and wanted him to be in their class.
Where'd you see that

I agree but at the same time its sorely needed. I feel like we have looked smaller than many teams we have faced since joining this conference. Size isn't everything but it helps.

Word is we are still pretty interested here.
That frame seems exactly like what we'd want. Hopefully these recruiting style changes translate to more than just looking good off the bus.

I was listening live most of the day while at work so I was in and out. Around 11ish, A show host(?) recapped some of the comments made by signees and said a mother of one of the guys said they found Nebraska fans to be completely neurotic and they loved it. Made me laugh- some people find our delusions attractive! Wish I could remember who said that.

It would be interesting to know when he plans to put ink to paper. We may not want him now though
He's listed as signed by his name on 247.
He also has a big long commitment story on their site.

Dang. Well go do some work until February or find two good transfers after spring ball.

I know it's popular to say that certain recruits are overrated when they commit elsewhere, but if I didn't know his ranking and just saw the tape I would never think he was a .93 composite. No expert by any means, but doesn't look that fast nor explosive. Butler and especially Greene look much more dynamic on film to me.
Regardless of what he is, we are a player away from getting our ideal signing day given the options. Hopefully we picked up enough pieces in this class and in surrounding years so he has little to no impact on our future games.

Flowe trolled Miami too with the fake toward the canes hat.
Now that feels like our life from Riley's last signing day.
Glad most of these are coming our way now

So if Slusher is the only remaining news for today, who else are we waiting on for the February signing day? I know we will only have a couple spots left at this point, but are there a couple top targets we are after that were not planning on signing in December?
We are waiting on Betts' grades. Conn hasn't signed so hopefully he does too or he might be a February one.
If they decide Aho is a take, we get Slusher and Payne then I think we are done. The thought seems to be Aho gets left out and that leaves one spot for either a summer transfer/grad transfer or someone in the February window. Likely a spot for a transfer/grad transfer in the summer though from what I've read.

This is sort of strange. People are claiming he's signed. Huskers haven't confirmed that and 247 doesn't have him as signed yet. There's claims he is going to announce tonight at 7pm. Sooooo......he signed, everyone knows it, but he's going to announce it later?
So the thought of him or Aho isn't a valid theory. It's Payne, just a matter of when the University releases it after 7?
