@schuhbdoo How is spiking the ball not intentional grounding? The quarterback is in the pocket, it doesn't get to the LOS, and he is not throwing it to anyone.
Part of the definition of intentional grounding is "facing imminent loss of yardage due to pressure from the defense." There is no such danger on a spike.
