  1. hold the freakin phones!!

with the matt schaub trade, the texans will probably be looking at a defensive line mate to go across mario williams. this is the perfect time to hit carriker with the tenth overall. the kid from clemson that everyone gets googly about will be gone, so this makes sense now.

if the schaub trade didn't happen, i'd say brady quinn for sure. and from what espn.com says, kubiak was in love with him.

but now, i would tend to believe that the texans will go DE for their first pick. and this just reeks of taking carriker. he'd get single coverage with williams on the other side of the ball.

    can't think that's a bad idea. :w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t:w00t

It very well could be the Texans now. That would be awsome. Two Huskers on the same team. Do they still have Brown on there team? If they do that would make 3.
  2. People have been saying that the Packers will look to draft Marshawn Lynch since Green left.

And if not that maybe they will get B-Jax in the second or maybe third round.
  3. I was just thinking about where he actually went to play, and if he is going to be able to play this year. It would sure be nice to have him now. He would probably be at safety and him and Asante back there would be awesome! Green is pretty good though I think.

He is going to play for Hawaii at I would assume he will be there running back, his dream position. I am not sure if he will be able to play or not. He might because he went there last year so that would mean he sat out his transphere year this season. And should be able to play this upcoming season, but I am not sure.
  4. 33 bench reps, is that good? And I figured Moore ran a 4.85 to a 4.8 but I guess that the way things go. He still should be drafted by at least the 3rd round.

    33 reps is very good

    Excellent, just making sure. :bonez

  6. I read an article recently that talked about 40 times being more or less a relic. What the teams really look at are split times on shorter distances, 10 and 20 yards depending on possition. The 40 is more a guage of top speed, the splits are a better showing of burst speed. I would be willing to be Cornish has a much better burst than top speed.

I bet Jacksons is very good as well.
  7. Lucky is coming back -FACT

Lucky will get a majority of the carries (barring Injury) - FACT

Lucky will have a monster (Breakout) year because he is that good - FACT

We will see mainly 2 RB Lucky and Glenn (Goalline and Short yardage) - I THINK FACT

Wilson will Redshirt, Lucky will be gone after next year, Wilson will be the man the following year and will be considered one of the best ever here (He has that ability) - I HOPE FACT

I dont personally think our RB situation is dire, i think it is improved. 4 RB is too many. BJax is gone and was good but Lucky is Better and will shine with a majority of the carries.

Should Lucky get hurt then i think you'll see Wilson's redshirt pulled and he and Glenn will get the carries. However, should Glenn get hurt i think Wilson will stay redshirted and Castille or Helu will get the short yardage and goalline carries.

:yeah I agree with your facts, and I am with you on your hopes. Lucky should be great this year.

Me too, except I hope that Lucky stays for his senior year.

  8. Hmmmmmm yeah I would think Coach wouldn't want a trainer who over medicates 4 star recruits a "part of the program anymore".

Maybe ol' Doak can give Dr. Nick a run for his money on the Simpsons

Lucky was a 5 star, but carry on.
  9. I think that our defense finally came together at the end of the year. It is just that our saftey play was so bad that it got exposed at times despite our extremley dominate D-line play. At the beging of the year it took our DT's some time to get a grove, and then we had some injuries at linebacker that just killed are whole defense. The Oklahoma St. game is a good example of that. We had 3 linebackers playing the whole game. That alone is enough to kill most teams. We just basically saw that the whole defense came together during the Oklahoma and the Auburn games. We were healthy and at linebacker and our D-line was playing as one and that almost covered the weekness in the secondary. Sure the offense let us down in the second half of almost every game and Callahan will get that better, just as he got our running game night and day better over this time of the year. Are offense should do nothing but improve with all of the returning talent, in fact it could be scary good baring injuries. I realize that injuries always occur we just have to avoid the serious ones. We will be better, but I don't know how much but 10 wins are very on par expectations for this years team. Of course I will be expecting at least 12 wins, because if you do not expect the best you will not get the best.

  10. I wanna make it out to Lincoln next year, but no one wants to go with me.

I made plans to with a friend to go to the KU game last year, but the (now former) friend I wanted made plans with changed his mind in the summer. :asshat

Hell if I knew you I would go. That is why I want to go to college down there, to watch Husker football. That is if I have any money....
