Not false. Unfortunately true. Long predating Pederson. Solich was a good coach with off field liabilities. If Nebraska had made the terrible mistake some claim, Frank would have been scooped up in one of the 100 P5 openings over the last 15 years. If he writes an autobiography about how he didnt drink too much and never chased coeds, it will sell zero copies. Not happening.
And with this post i'm forced to admit you really are CM Husker returned from purgatory.

In my own mind, if I was Frost, I'd think about my own future.....didn't the stadium boo him when he was playing....probably remembers that experience like it was yesterday.......
The stadium didn't boo him. It was a few drunk students. Besides, if he's making his decision based on something like that that happened over 20 years ago, then he probably isn't the coach we want.
Fun Fact: The game when the boo birds came out was against none other then the UCF Knights!

How am I changing the bar? (I'm guessing you mean moving the goalposts?) You suggested we give Frost a 5-year contract and no contract extensions until year 5. I said that was a bad idea, and not how things are done. Twice.
You said we need to stop giving extensions, then firing coaches after three years. You said we need to show commitment to the coach. I said that contract extensions are done to show commitment to the coach, and they are a gamble and risk that is necessary to succeed in the game of coach hiring.
I have not changed my stance or contradicted myself, so I'm confused as to how you think any bars or goalposts have moved.
I think he just wore out his welcome at his current bar and he's looking for a new place to drink!

Rivals shows Decker offered by K-state. But still I would have thought Stoltenberg and Gifford had P-5 offers.
Stoltenberg and Gifford were homestate boys who committted early and never got other offers. Baker Steinkuhler was a 5* and never got any other offers.
Plus, the whole offer thing is hearsay. Some kids claim to have offers when they don't, others don't announce all their offers. There is no official offer record keeping system.
That list was made by a butthurt Riley fan who was trying to make a case for keeping Riley around.

The fact that half of our starting team didn't have an offer from any other P5 school

What Isle Means is: That seems pretty unbelievable to me, can you show me where you got that from?
Isle is going to be verrrrrry careful about keeping conversations on track.

I am actually interested in what the outrage would be if Moos keeps riley. I am an evil person
I wouldn't be outraged personally. In fact, I would laugh uncontrollably.

I predict that something crazy and totally unpredictable will happen before the season.

He wins games that's the difference, right?
He's intense, he's engaged with players and coaches, he manages the clock well, he's energetic, he's hands on with both offense and defense, he's an incredible motivator -- opposite of Riley in pretty much every way.

So IOV, do you get to many UCF games to watch Scott coach? If so what are your general observation on his demeanor on the side lines, is in game adjustments, half time adjustments, play calling skills and his involvement wt players and coaches during the game??
Basically, he's the opposite of Riley. Do you need any more details than that?

^^^^^^That one is just painful to read through in hindsight.
When Mike Riley has a quarterback that is his style of quarterback, he’s generally successful...
I saw that one. So basically he seems to be saying that Riley has NEVER had his style of QB???

Isn't Riley like the #41 highest paid coach in the country? And, he currently has the #38 best recruiting call in the country according to 24/7.
So he's clicking above his pay grade when it comes to recruiting. Time to give credit where credit is due.

Please tell me its #7 and says Frost on the back. Or maybe it's another thing that I enjoy and it has your own last name on it.
No, I don't even know what kind a jersey it is. It's Adidas, and I think it's a UCF Soccer jersey. It looks like a small embroidered #25 on the left breast pocket, but I can't be sure. I picked it up for $3 at a Goodwill in Clearwater.

Commits from California:
2015: 2
2016: 4
2017: 3
2018: 1
11 out of 70
That's pretty weak results for all the efforts they put into the Calibraska movement.

The more important question is, will you be wearing one of these?
No, I will wear my black and gold UCF jersey. If Frost stays at UCF, I will buy season tickets and buy the black version of this to wear to UCF games.

My brother asked me if I wanted to drive over to Orlando for the USF @ UCF game on black friday. I considered it, lol.
I haven't made definitive plans for Thanksgiving yet. I will likely be back in Nebraska. If I stay home, I will definitely be there.

I'm shocked! Shocked I tells ya.
Shocked that all the major services and experts are picking the Huskers to lose every game or shocked that I took the easy way out?

If you are an adult that buys and wears one of these things you are a giant boob. IMO
These are like those foolish "Got Frank" shirt dingles were wearing in 2004.
We get it. You don't like giant boobs.

At this point...if Riley stays...next year will be miserable at a level that most of us can't even comprehend. Even our resident RiledUppers would have it rough.
It won't be miserable for me. It will be quite liberating.

I'm going to take the easy way out and go with the composite picks and percentages of all the major services:

Did he used to be taller?

Giving a coach the boot after 3 'Riley-esque' seasons? yay or nay, depending on what?

If Frost comes in and has two losing seasons, we'll be looking for another new coach in 2020.
