Most of my posts are saying anything but Scott is a done deal because IMO I am not sure the deal is done. For the 3rd time, I really hope that I am wrong but right now there is just as much evidence against it as for it. I WANT TO BELIEVE!

I really hope your right, seriously. I have a really hard time believing that anyone on this board knows Scotts agent or Bill Moos personally and they would give out sensitive information to someone that would leak it on a message board unless Scotts agent wants to stir the pot for more money. Even then, if its a done deal, why is it being reported teams are still making runs at him? Maybe I am being naive, but I won't believe it until he is behind that podium.

I have been a Nebraska fan all my life, I am just skeptical its been signed sealed delivered. Florida is going to come back with their best offer, and he might just laugh at them but Florida doesn't want to come out of this with 2 coaches saying thanks but no thanks. IMO its not over yet and I WANT Scott coaching Nebraska - its a no brainer.

Im not, I am just thinking IMO that Florida is going to ask him to write down everything he wants and say we will give it you. I want Scott coaching Nebraska just as much as everyone, I just have a tough time believing that he is a done deal already. I know he isn't coming back to UCF. I hope I am wrong.

The report just came out, the article attached to the first one is outdated. Its fine if you think Scott is N, but if you really dont want to think that Florida is going to go All In and then some so they don't look like morons...I think you are selling the process short. Scott hasn't SIGNED anything yet.

and the rumors, but why are the reporting Florida is going to make another push if they were told that deal was dead?

Now all said and done, I believe Florida leaking the rumors about him made that deal done and dead. I would love to see Florida be stuck with Kelly and Frost going elsewhere. It just depends on what Florida wants to offer. If they go way above our offer, does the rumors they leaked mean something to Scott?

Just being reported, also says that Florida might make a big push on Scott.

It's not confirmed that it was a team meeting. This happened around 1:30 p.m., two hours before the "scheduled" start of Tuesday practice (for those of you that played high school/college sports, you know that if you're not a half hour early, you're late). There is no confirmation that it was an "emergency" meeting either, so it very well could have been a direction to just show up early to the facility for a pre-practice meeting. Since the players who received the notification were seniors, keep in mind that Friday is their last game. From how I've understood it in the past - could be wrong - they plan out the Senior Day festivities early in the week and typically don't take time out of the day-before-game walkthrough.
