    I was hearing the same thing just shortly after Frost was hired. 

     

    Was told don't be surprised when/if Lindsey leaves... this new staff isn't all about him like the previous staff for whatever reasons.

    That's "marked improvement"?  Losing to a team we should beat plus all top 5 teams on the schedule?  Just beacuase we beat 6 cupcakes instead of only beating 4, that's "marked improvement"?

     

    It's not.  We are capable of more than this, we will do better than .500

     

     

    I know I'm a couple pages behind but when I look at a schedule, I want to believe every home game is a W. Memorial Stadium is a special place and Minnesota next year should not be chalked up as a W in Lincoln. 

     

    7-5 is no where out of expectations.

    side note... I'm also not setting any expectations.

    I feel this is one of the only coaches in America that our fan base will be patient enough with. Am I still worried about some of the off beat Nebraska fans that will turn on him year one when we don't win every game? Yes.. but we need to be reasonable as a fan base and not get caught up in the wins and losses. 6-6 would NOT be a failed season. With the schedule and change of EVERYTHING. 6 wins is pretty damn good. I know I won't be looking at the win and loss column until year 2-3. I just want to see the players come out with some fire and passion and play hard.

    That's exactly what I have been saying.. somewhere around 20 ppg would be just fine when the offense is putting up 40+ ppg.

    I know its probably just me being salty... but Id really like to see Lee just move on to the NFL. He's got a hell of an arm but his decision making and the interceptions were too much for me. POB has shown some light.. I don't feel like our players have really had an opportunity.. open roster type to get their chance. That will not be the case with Frost.
