Seemed to say it as politely as he could, but basically this team is out of shape and having spring practice, then spring break, then back to practice was a stupid idea. The man has confidence. It's gonna be fun.

I like his film. This is the kind of lineman that Wisconsin has turned into an All-American. He obviously has watched the movie "Blindside" a few times.

Before everyone starts panicking about why Dawson wasn’t there and if he “doesn’t like recruiting”.... He was visiting Otito on Tuesday and will be in home tonight with crew at JJB house.
Thanks. I was wondering about that. Haven't seen Dawson at all in any twitter pics. Good to know. They gonna have the whole crew tonight I hope at JJB house?

At this point, with limited spots maybe Scott will say get in or your spot won't be there. Needs to shut it down.

Havent heard anything, but if someone on another board said it, it is most likely 100% true.
That's exactly what I thought! FO!

Someone on another board said there was a rumor that the visit didn't go well. Thought maybe he didn't fit with the new coaches. Anyone hear this?

It doesn't help that Nebraska fans are trolling them on their message board. The "Nebraska fans" are ridiculous on there
Agree 100%. Pretty ridiculous on both sides.

Thanks for doing your part to keep this thread about how it will affect Husker athletics.
Glad I could help. At the end of the day we have no idea right now how it will affect Husker athletics. In reality with the money involved I would guess there will be little or no affect.

Basically everyone is going to die because of this tax plan. At least that is what the #fakenews MSM media and the democlowns will tell you! You'll all be okay.

God damn
Good on him! Hopefully more guys feel this way. I'm guessing winter workouts are gonna weed out the weak. The weak will quit, the guys who have heart and want to work will flourish. They finally have a coach that knows what it takes to win.

Nice. Thank you!

Some UCF fans still coming to grips with the change. Pretty salty, doing a lot of crying. I can understand Frost and the coaches wanting to do this, but at this point still seems so awkward.

As a guy that coached defense for a lot of years my goals were usually pretty simple.
Don't let the other team score first
No plays over 20 yards
No 3rd or 4th down conversions
Hold teams under 16 points
Force 3 turnovers a game
Win
The only one I actually cared about was the last one
So what you're saying is you did not follow the Diaco game plan.

What could a potential role for him be?
Is it possible we see QB's splitting reps? Could he potentially have a role in the offense as a 2 minute QB, or something along those lines?
Or is it just best if he leaves for the draft or Grad Transfer...
I'm currently thinking it's best for him to transfer or go Pro, but would love to hear other thoughts on him.
Just not the QB for this offense. Maybe Scott could give him a subtle hint, it's best if you move on.

You think him or Lamar Jackson would be able to... tackle any opportunities this year?
Maybe they'll move Lamar back to safety, his natural position and give him a try. Didn't look good in the corner position.

Any idea if Billy Devaney is being retained? He is still listed on the website.

No he is wrong about how it works. That account must approve any follower so if that account doesn't approve you, you won't be able to see their tweets no matter what you do.
It's unlocked now.

Precisely. I think it's very admirable and respectable to want to coach that game for the players at UCF. On paper, it seems like the right thing to do. But, when you start weighing all the factors (like we've mentioned) it starts to get more awkward with each passing day. It could end up doing harm. Just speaking from my shoes - I would prefer a clean break as a UCF fan.
Part of me wonders if he's secretly hoping his OC gets the head coaching job and coaches in the game. That might make it easier to say 'you know what, they're in pretty good hands.' I imagine the OC would be interim HC anyways but I don't know if they've made that call yet.
UCF just made it official. Hired Josh Heupel. Wonder is Walters is coming to Nebraska now.

What does protecting their tweets mean? (I don't have a twitter account.)
Basically anyone with a #Huskers or #GBR hashtag is blocked from seeing the account. Just means you can't go comment when they put up the s#*t post yesterday about Nebraska being white racist, cold and no one will see you play. They're triggered! Not taking the coaching change well.

Personally, I have some concerns about Frost coaching the Peach Bowl as an outsider looking in on that situation.
Charles Davis brought up a good point on USC yesterday when he said he felt Frost should not coach that game. Davis referenced a previous (Duke?) coach who left to take a new job but decided to come back to do that bowl game. During that game, the coach had to get after a player a little bit on the sidelines. The player basically gave the coach an up and down saying 'why should I listen to you when you aren't going to be here next year.' It was uncomfortable and the coach said, if given the opportunity, he would never coach in a situation like that again.
Second, much of the fan base, university and players sort of said their goodbyes with the send off in the championship game.
Lastly, Scott's staff has already sent offers to some kids who they previously offered at UCF i.e. they're trying to poach some commits.
Now, I'm not on that team and I'm not Frost. I also heard his justification for why he would try to coach the game. But, after weighing all these things, it sort of seems like a break up where you tell the girl/guy you'll go on one last date even though you've already ended the relationship and will not be coming back. It just feels odd. But, that's from my shoes.
I have to agree. I like the idea that it would give Nebraska exposure for 3 hours on TV but at the end of the day it just doesn't seem like a good idea anymore. At this point it seems best if the interim coach or the new coach, they certainly will have one this week sometime coaches the bowl game. With Frost offering current UCF commits just seems more awkward by the minute, and UCF fans are some salty characters. Danny White has got to be taking some heat right now.

Huskers to Hire Director of Player Personnel from Tennessee

Not sure I like or understand this hire, but as long as Frost is still running the program I'll take a wait and see. Don't see what he brings, really.
