Sounds like Moos needs treatment. I'm not sure firing him is going to help him.
Back to my last post about this coming out eventually... I was told treatment was strongly encouraged around the Wisconsin game mishap.

Fwiw, I was told a week ago, alcohol issues that peaked around Wisconsin game. It’s likely that Sharp and Schaefer knew this part as well when they were discussing on the radio at that time. Lots more to it, but I’m sure it will all come out soon enough.

I watched a few of their games this year and that offense is more stale than 3 week old bread. They will be a perennial 7-5 team.
Exactly... That’s why him playing at Kentucky never made sense. Louisville with Brohm, sure... But not Kentucky.

Insightful listen, first ten minutes or so touching on this and situations like it:

Now a story is being peddled by the Kentucky rivals writers that Frost promised him that Spielman is going to switch positions next year, and that Wandale would start in that position next year. Then, Wandale called on Wednesday to confirm, and Frost denied promising anything, and that's what prompted the switch.
What a soap opera. Probably best to move on and focus on the guys that want to be here, like Johnson and Thompkins.
Which completely goes against Frosts mentality and everything he’s preached to the players and media that positions and playing time are earned, nothing is promised...

Rumor is Callahan was speaking at a luncheon in Beatrice today and he said he heard that last night some guy called Frost and explained he was Wandale's "handler". Scott had never even heard this guys name until last night and he tells Scott that Kentucky was going to do "this" for his guy and wanted to hear what we could do. Scott was pissed and basically told him where to go.
No way... This couldn’t have happened because because of all the “experts” on here a couple pages back (@Ziebol) said it doesn’t happen and folks like Jim Rose (who just happen to know more than they do) should just stop with the crazy conspiracy theories and wish him well. (Sarcasm)

Its embarrassing people jump to the conclusion that this is about money. It's his hometown school, 30 minutes away from him with a lot of friends and family there. The same people who say this has to do with $$$ are the same that would take this kid in a second.
Whats more embarrassing is people not living in the real world and hiding from it when stuff like this is blatantly taking place as described by Jim Rose this morning. For God sakes, there’s reports about it weekly.
-
This should end the “Don’t jump to conclusions” folks debate:
On Jim Rose radio show this morning:
"Rose said that he got a call from someone in the Robinson camp that he didn't even know. That Scott was asked if we could match their (Kentuckys) offer. Rose then said that was the end of our pursuit of Robinson."

If you are skeptical about him going to UK for valid reasons, you should be much more skeptical about his reasons to come to NU. We made his final cut despite not being closer to home, not having as successful of a program, not having the pull of the SEC, not having better weather, and probably a few other reasons. How much money do you think we offered him?
Yeah, you’re right... This staff hasn’t shown the ability to get top rated athletes without special side deals before... smh

Believe it or not, this forum isn’t the only place that has insiders with connections (as was just brought up in a different thread last week). One of the others out there has one main poster who everyone looks to for Husker and CFB advice in general. He hinted towards a scenario such as this last night. But, Carry on...

I had read that his current GF is already at or will be going to Kentucky. Wouldn’t be surprised one bit if her financial burden was somehow lightened due to this... Just one of many things that could be in play that revolve around $$$.
-
Wasn’t Ty Lindsey moved to the other (worse) locker room before his departure? This seems to fit that mold...

Schaefer from the top rope....
Am I the only one very surprised to see this? Is it real or just a jab? Anyone have more context to this?

The article makes some good points that have already been talked about with timing being less than ideal and that this is going to be a much bigger undertaking than UCF, but still seems like UCF folks just trying to beat a dead horse and rub our rough start in our noses to make them feel better about their loss.

Per Callahan, Washington is expected back at practice tomorrow...
...God, let’s hope so.

I was just told by a friend that Mo Washington was not at practice today... Can someone please tell me he was full of crap and this isn’t the case?

FYI: If you’re not familiar with reddit, idontbelieveinisms is main poster there that everyone trusts. He is a verified ex power 5 football player and does two podcasts (one for the entire college football page (550k plus subscribers) and one solely for the Husker page 12k members). Needless to say, he has good insight and quite a following. Likely an ex Husker since it’s only team he “follows”.
