Well, digging deeper into the vastly needed culture change, Sipple just said on his podcast that post game there were some older guys joking, laughing and singing after the loss... We have become more comfortable with losing than winning. Any ideas who he is talking about?
Specifically said it wasn’t Ziggy or Stoltenburg.

Fans were good to start with today, but seemed to get tired or lazy in 2nd half. Once we took the lead, kinda felt like we coasted.
Then the fans came back to life late in the game.

2 fumbles crushed
missed FG
dropped JD pass in 4th quarter on 3rd and 15 to ice it.
dropped Morgan TD.
Bunch throwing ball out of bounce with chance to win.
Hit by Reed that ultimately cost us the game.
Play Call on Martinez Pick. (Should’ve ran and tried to end it behind the OL. IMO)
Loved:
Martinez play making ability.
TD pass to JD was best Husker pass I’ve seen in a long time. Perfect.
ground game was fantastic.
loved the d. Very good opening performance.
sacks were a sight for sore eyes.
Washington can juke and jive wow.
disliked:
pass call when Martinez threw a pick.
how we operated the clock late.
It ended up being correct because we needed the time, but it sort of felt like we could’ve pounded it down their throats to win it 40 seconds at a time.
Looks like this is the start of something special.

Even though I hate to say it... This would be my one negative against Frost this game. And I’m as big of Frost supporter as they come.

Would the concessions even have enough food/beverage after people hanging around in the concourse for 2.5 hours. All the police/security inside and outside the stadium that would need to be available.
There are thousands of people who work in/around the stadium. Do you think they could have dropped everything and been available at 7am?
I get that Frost/Moos want to play, but I’m not sure it would even be able to pull off a game the next day w/o it being a major cluster-f in and around memorial stadium.
As we’ve seen from our coaches and admin that are no longer with us, but are currently being paid millions $$$... UNL has plenty of resources to get things done when they want. They just didn’t make it happen this time. Jokes on us.

I really hope Gebbia hangs in there and sticks with us. I really like the kid even though it’s obvious that long-term AM fits this offense the best.
But, with McCaffrey en route, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Gebbia take off at some point unless something crazy happens.

I posted a question about TL on another thread and nobody seems to know what happened to him. From all signs this summer, things were looking great for him.... What happened to that?
