You do realize you don't understand boards no?
The dude created his own "certification" to avoid taking the boards. He never was certified legally, and his own created "board" was dissolved in 2000.

The American Board of Ophthalmology link clearly demonstrates he was board certified from 1995-2005. He chose not to recertify in 2005, because it is just a money grab.

Sweet baby Jesus, Severe. Take it easy on those tweets. Was his source Will Compton or Kenny Powers? -

Hearing that USC is pressuring Dylan to cancel his GA and Nebr visits.
I don't know this to be fact.
Just hearing it from a fairly reliable source.
If true, does that imply Dylan has given an undisclosed, verbal commit?

Fickle won his coaching debut, a bowl game nonetheless (Guaranteed Rate Bowl), over the Little Sister in Oklahoma (24-17). Okie Light had such high hopes going into the season and just laid a big turd the latter half of it. The win will be good karma for Fickle headed into 2023 season no doubt.
I would not call it a debut. I read that he provided an advisory role. Leonard was calling the shots.- 1

How are you sure? They could have been sourced from Turo.

I'm from SE Kansas right on the MO border and chili with a cinnamon roll was/is a staple here. Hell it's a weekly special at our local restaurant in the winter
Which restaurant? -

This just came across.
They are only paying Fickell $6 million/year and they get to keep Leonard? Well played Wisconsin. Absolute masterclass by their AD.- 1

Not bad, but I’m more of a “Ma Rhule” kinda guy. -

Maybe Rhule's words on being a tough, hard working, physical team turned off some. Sounds like they had it pretty cushy under Frost - and it showed on the field. If they don't have the mentality that Rhule demands, then "Goodbye"
Can you elaborate on “pretty cushy”? -

I’m happy with the Rhule hire, but Fickell was my number one so this stings more than it should. Well played badgers.

I wonder why we never tried to get Luke Fickell ourselves? I mean it always seems like Wisconsin is always one step ahead of Nebraska. Barry Alvarez was the best thing to happen to Wisconsin bc he literally showed them our blueprint for success. Pound the rock and play a physical defense. If they get Luke, then I will be more upset with the fact that we didn't try ourselves or if we did and he saw the writing on the wall and said nope this place is a dumpster fire not for me but who knows
Fickell would be an amazing hire for anyone, but especially them. Let's hope he rejects their advances.

We were finally able to defeat the Hawkeyes only after we dismissed our DC, who formerly played at Iowa. Coincidence? I think not.

Didn't Mickey fire a DC? How is it any different beside the side of the ball?
That DC was a former squawkeye. My sources indicate Mickey received a round of high fives from the former players. -

For those comparing Rhule to Riley (which is just laughable) consider this: In 17 years of being a college football head coach, Riley had ONE 10 win season. Rhule on the other hand had three 10+ wins seasons in just 7 years. Rhule has a lot of college losses because both programs that he took over were complete dumpster fires when he arrived (sound familiar??). The first year he was at Temple he was 2-10 and the first year he was at Baylor he was 1-11. Two seasons later both teams were 10+ win juggernauts. For anyone to do this once is hard enough, but twice landed him a gig in the NFL. If you think hiring an NFL reject is a problem, then Nick Saban, Jim Harbaugh and many others would like to have a word or two with you!
There is nobody on this earth who is currently looking for work as a football head coach more qualified to turn this turdsicle of a Nebraska football program around than Matt Rhule. If he leaves after making us a 10+ win team again in a few years, then fine. We will pay well for another big name who will not have to build from the ground up.
So they have the same number of 10+ win seasons in P5 football and both failed as NFL head coaches, yet Rhule is vastly superior?

Again though did you even read what I wrote? No one is getting high rated classes at Baylor. That's without even counting the fact that he was recruiting while Baylor was under investigation. It was completely unknown while he was there if they were going to get a penn state level penalty or worse. Who would go to a school during that?
I have been arguing that Nebraska with Rhule is not going to be out-recruiting Texas programs for quality Texas players. There will be no "pipeline". You responded by stating that Nebraska had higher rated classes than Baylor. So your statement had nothing to do with my original argument and did not merit a response, but I was gracious and confirmed that yes, Nebraska did in fact have higher rated classes.

Nebraska has recruiting classes in the teens recently with no on field success. I'm not sure Baylor ever reached that high even after winning their conference
Rhule's classes were not as highly rated. His classes were mostly 3 star Texas kids with a few kids from neighboring states.

I think Rhule will keep Mickey. Trey Palmer was the difference today Iowa has nobody that could match him most B1G schools can't. Mickey is one of the few assistants that Rhule could get that can land him players like that.
Did Mickey bring anybody else from Louisiana other than Palmer?

I really don't think many of those top notched Texas kids dreamed of playing at Baylor. Texas, A&M, TCU, Houston yes - but not the Baylor that Rhule inherited.
So...that makes you believe they will come to Nebraska?

Aimless only if you have a closed mind. There were previous posts & quotes on this thread showing how Rhule had built great relationships with many top Texas HS coaches. I have no doubt that he'll be able to take advantage of those past relationships.
I will bet on oil boosters, proximity, and recent success over Rhule's emoji game with high-school coaches. Do you think those Texas kids grew up dreaming about Nebraska or one of their in-state institutions?
We will get some kids, but only the ones passed on or missed by the Texas programs.

And he did that when Baylor was in the crapper too. By some of the remarks on here, you'd think Nebraska had fired Vince Lombardi in Sept and not SF. Every coach is a risk in some way. We can find something negative about everyone. Rhule has more upside than downside in my opinion. He coached the OL, he rebuilt two totally different programs at two different levels. If he had not had his Carolina experience, I think there would be less negativity. If we were about to hire him after his 3rd year at Baylor, he would be the hot coach hire of the year and I think most would be excited to getting him after 3 bad years of SF.
How does this aimless rant relate to attracting Texas recruits to Nebraska over the numerous Texas programs?

So you concede he can build a program, just not an elite one?
I concede he had one good year at a P5 destination. He has never stayed anywhere long enough to demonstrate consistency.
