A lot of game left, can we play a 4 quarter game?

I knew it was too good to be true.

I like the score, but I am still not of a fan of relying on AM to score the touchdowns. We need to develop our goal line weapons.

He might want to lay low for a little bit.

Oline replacements looking good so far, have yet to see anyone from NW in the backfield. The guy with the hard to spell last name is man handling his D man and Corcoron looks much better on the right side.
Whats the new lineup?

Ok, what the hell happened to this team? This team is making NW look like a high school JV team so far.

Great heads up tackle.

I’m surprised that the playing surface does not receive more attention nationally with regard to player safety (maybe I have missed those discussions). Surely more compliant turf or taller grass would be effective in reducing player speeds, and therefore, injuries that arise from collisions and helmet-to-ground contact.- 1

So, if you believe that he is never going to fix the sloppy play, and you believe he will never challenge for division or conference titles, what is the purpose of giving him more time? What does that accomplish?
A person’s beliefs do not equal facts, regardless of how passionately they argue on Husker Board. -

This'll sound weird but I'll bet I'm in the upper 10th percentile of fans that get torn apart when the skers lose a football game. I am absolutely sick of losing. So it isn't apathy or lowering my standards or any of that that's making me say he should get until the end of 2022 - it's just that offensively & defensively we are really turning around...we just need to clean up special teams & fundamentals.
I agree that he deserves more time, I think one more year. What concerns me is the persistent sloppy play. If he has not been able to fix it by year four, I don’t think he ever will. Our record may improve next year due to superior talent, but I doubt we will ever challenge for division or conference titles, because that requires consistency.- 1

I think that this was a 4-5 year rebuild from the start. Some people think it's ridiculous to go out to "5" for this quote, but you don't necessarily hit on all of your linemen just in that first recruiting class.
So while I think Frost should stay through the end of 2022, I also think he completely deserves to be raked over the coals for not buckling down and fixing the special teams issues that were losing us at least 2 games per season starting in 2019.
If he doesn't get that fixed and we can't do better than 6-6 next year he'll need to be fired.
There is technically no excuse for not making a bowl game this year, but if I'm being completely objective I think he needs one more year.
It may take multiple years to recruit and develop players to be competitive, but poor discipline and fundamentals should be corrected by year two. The persistent penalties, turnovers, special teams blunders, and poor clock management (timeouts after a kickoff) are all red flags. Frost needs to seek guidance from coaches more knowledgeable and/or alter his coaching staff.- 2

My sources indicate Trev will announce the impending abolishment of the football program. Those close to the AD’s office say Alberts wants to focus on sports which bring pride to the state of Nebraska, namely volleyball and women’s bowling.

We attempt a fake field goal. Instead of winding up for the kick, Culp makes a dash for the outside edge while the holder flips the ball behind his head to him. But guess what?!? Piper gets bulldozed and a defender shoots up the middle, snags the ball out of the air, and takes it to the house. Coach Dawson does not realize the wrong team scored until the conclusion of their fight song.

To be fair, the defense kept us in the game.
I hope they bully him ruthlessly every time he loses us a game.
I’m pretty sure they already do. Would explain Adrian’s pronounced weight loss.

As far as the O-line situation goes, I'm gonna copy & paste this post I saw elsewhere, because it seems to make a lot of sense. Basically, it's a domino effect of a couple guys going down/not being 100%, and a lack of depth.
Arguably, the biggest takeaway is that we should've hit up the transfer portal for some experienced guys to add some depth to handle this sort of situation.
Too bad Kade Warner graduated. Most naturally gifted blocker on the team.- 1

Who gets credit for the o-line improvement? Frost or Austin?
