This translates to 80 something to nothing as the final score. 

Nothing fancy on third and long.  Just ran the ball over us.

Nobody there.

We do have an okay backup QB.  

More worst nightmare scenarios for Scott Frost.  My heart goes out to him.  And to those out there really trying. 

That Larry the Cable Guy seems to have been a curse on the Huskers. 

Plus not funny.  How does he do that?

They can do better than this.  Offense.  Defense, and now special teams making mistakes.

Bad all around.  Offense and "blackshirts."  

Nobody touched him.

Let's see how they respond to that.

What's going on here?  We already beat Michigan this year.

..anyway, 34 - 33 Huskers win.  Great weather.  Great game.  And the true beginning of the Frost era. 

So besides the Michigan win, we've got this one.  Two guaranteed wins! 

They used to be ahead enough, having the ability to score on defense as well as having the ability to score a lot offensively, that the penalties didn't hurt that much, exasperating as penalties always are.

That was in the old days.

Some of us remember being asked to be patient going back to the early 2000s and through several coaches.

We can still do it, of course.  But we do remember that and it's been a long haul and the words are old. 

I still predict a Husker win at Michigan. 

On 84th street in Lincoln there used to be a Michigan flag flying high.  I haven't been over on that side of town for a while so I don't know if it's still there, but I plan to put my "N" flag up the flag pole where I live on Saturday early.

Huskers come out pensive but with more discipline than they've had in a while.  They may even score first and they may even mount a sustained drive doing so.

Hello, I'm brand new here and can't find an intro forum/topic/thread, so I saw a topic I wanted to comment on, "..distorted reality.." around the Frost hire. 

I agree.  And the expectations seemed way over the top among many Husker fans, it appears.  Even the coach himself, I sometimes wonder.  He can talk about

the time it'll take etc.. but I have the feeling he felt a bit of that "distorted reality." 

We went from expectations about not winning enough national championships to expectations about not getting into conference title games to expectations

about not beating enough teams per season ("at least 9, c'mon!) to expectations about having a "winning season" (please get into a bowl game) to now: 

expectations about being able at some point to win a game this season.

So, our expectations are not distorted reality in being too high, I would say.    Troy was supposed to be an almost sure thing.  Anyway... big job for Mr. Frost.

Gonna take time.
