  1. Washington can torch former AG Bruning and by association Davison on his way out if he so chooses. That’ll probably come to light anyways when his Nebraska AD-assigned attorney suddenly bails on him mid case.

so that’ll be super good for everyone I think. Can probably replace him with a corn fed North Platte kid anyways.

    Its in your newspaper

Gophers strength and conditioning coach Dan Nichol poured ice water on the players as they ran out for practice Tuesday, letting the cubes drip down their bare backs underneath their jerseys for most of the session.

The receivers and quarterbacks dipped their hands into ice buckets before each series. The players handled frozen footballs, wet footballs. Gophers coach P.J. Fleck pumped up the air conditioning in the indoor facility, dropping the temperature as low as possible to around the high 50s.

Basically, the Gophers did everything short of renting a snow machine and giant fans to prepare the team for a potentially chilly game this weekend at TCF Bank Stadium.

Guess where these go. Fleck hitting the next level.

.  Yes, we don't know how Vedral will fare in a full-game situation, but I think it's foolish to say that he would be "better than" Martinez.

Cough Joe Ganz vs Sam Keller cough.

Coaches can can and will play favorites. It’s uncommon. But not unheard of.

Early forecast for the Twin Cities is cold, windy and maybe wet. Way too early to know if it will be wet or not, but the cold and windy are almost a given from what I have seen so far in the forecast models.  Wind will be similar to the game Saturday vs Northwestern, but I have no clue on how the stadium in MN is with wind as some are worse than others. (Hinze Field)

Nothing like a moist game of ballfoot to break in a backup walk on QB.

I don't know about snapping footballs but I do know something about shooting free throws.  Shaq's mechanics were bad which leads to inconsistency.  I think Cam's mechanics are bad.  Snapping 200 times a day probably won't solve the issue unless his mechanics are fixed.  I imagine he's snapping from a pendulum motion so whether he launches it or makes a reasonable snap is a matter of split second difference in his release timing.  I don't know if that is normal or if it should be more of a upside down pass.  Maybe it's something as simple as having a consistent stance.  I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the problem to be diagnosed and fixed 5 games into the season.

I, too, shoot free throws under my a$$ facing the opposite direction.

It was a 5 point game last year. Go take a lap.

And after a year of coaching where are we? This Ohio State team isn’t any better. We were supposed to be. So players or coaching? Or both? Take your pick. We aren’t at this level. And we have a few years until we are. So you take a few laps. And let me know in 2021 how we are.

I was looking up drop kicks for kicking extra points and field goals.  Something so rare today you never see it. Doug Flutie did it a few years ago with the Patriots. Sill legal in NCAA football I believe. I don't recommend it, but thought it was worth mentioning considering our situation.

Our kickers can’t cleanly hit a ball behind held in place. What makes you think they could hit a bouncing one?! Might as well just blindfold them. Same result.

  8. Harbaugh is toast. Heard through the grapevine they're bringing in the sweater vest. Yes, Jim Tressel, with Scott Frost as OC and HC in waiting. You'll see.

Also Wisconsin is going to corn hole us so hard. Hope they bring butter.

I know, right? Who would want positive national exposure for their school and football program. Talk about a good way to turn off recruits.

Not so sure the national exposure Ohio State is gonna hand us is going to be 'positive.'
