Since we don't play OU everyear nor any of the Big 12 South's teams, do we need a new rival? CU years ago claimed us under the Red Letter Day on their calendar, but many of their fans, mostly students, are so vile. We're their rival, but who cares? Maybe we can select another Big 12 North team that would most likely be a real threat to our season.

 

This year, I'm guessing that our best competition for the North title is ISU. Barney Cotton stated last year, before we played them, that they were the REAL Red! MO, KSU and KU lost a lot of players, although the Purple (with Freeman) might be a fun rival. What do you boys and girls think?

Having spent some time near Ames,Iowa.I think ISU is more fixated with Iowa than anyone else.and having a few of those inbred KSU fans posting here on occasion,let's pick on them.

When I was in college one of the ways my room mates and I would make $$$ is to go and rent a VCR and a porno from the local video store.and charge say $5 bucks to every freshman farm kid in our dorm.big money maker!

you will see the ksu fans in praise of prince's recruiting, how he has it "rolling"...the problem I see with that is that they have like 18    

His most prized recruit, sadly, Darling Nikki, will not qualify.

I would say freeman was his best recruit...

I would hate to recruit for a school like Ohio. You can't expect a top 20 class or even a top 40 class for that matter. All Frank has to do is try to out-recruit the other schools like Akron, Buffalo, any directional Michigan school or Ball State. It's a whole other game in the Mid-Americas. I think that the only school in the Mid America conference that had a better ranked recruiting class was Akron. With that in mind, I think Frank did a decent job recruiting.

They had a great recruiting class. But you are right, they lost a lot of there starters. These are just EARLY preseason rankings. Just makes you wonder if they are actually looking at the teams or giving credit to teams that always get credit.

Mark my words,penn state WILL return to the bottom half of the big10 {11}.....
