Frost is way in over his head, he needs real help not token analysts positions.

Not a bad thought but not we aren't very attractive to any experienced centers looking to transfer. Nobody wants to transfer knowing they are going to, at best, be the number 2 guy.
Cam may never be reliable as a snapper, Frost should get over his obsession with him and make a change!
Same with Martinez, he is too damn inconsistent. Bring someone in.

The offense actually should be noticeably better next season, IF the kid from Montana is legit, Omar Manning is ready to go, the USC RB gets a wavier, key injuries are avoided and more experience gained all around. There are a lot of big "IFs" there, but with what should be a good defense, I'm somewhat optimistic about the team for 2021. My only reservation is special teams.
Scott? That you?

Wan'dale chose Nebraska, where he became the single favorite tool in nationally heralded coach Scott Frost's offense two years running.
Whether he was over-used or misused, Wan'dale's skills were on televised display every week, and promoted by every announcer covering the games. His NFL prospects have always been sketchy, but it's hard to imagine another team putting his talents on display like Nebraska did. Also hard to imagine he gets those touches with a better stable of talent.
So from a football POV, it's hard to say Wan'dale made the wrong choice coming to Nebraska. His family should have been happy for him.
But if I'm his mom watching Wan'dale getting hung out to dry on high passes on crossing routes, I'm gonna want him home for his own safety.
we honestly didn't have a decent qb that could throw to him. i fear more of the same this year, our qb's are not consistent at all.

Why are so many of our fans obsessed with getting our coach to stop doing the thing he's best at. He's regarded as one of the best playcallers in cfb by people who know what they're talking about. We should want him to call plays!
the way it is going now, it's simply not working.

Maybe not scrap it completely, but it absolutely needs to evolve, as so far, in 3 years, it hasn't made any sort of a dent in the Big Ten.
the O they are trying to run in the 10 is not viable.

special teams play is a nightmare. a dedicated coach could fix this, Frost could fix this if he wanted to.

I’ll summarize the past two years’ philosophy for you:
1. Bubble screen
2. Wandale designated touch
3. QB scramble for first down
*4. Bad snap and/or penalty
5. RB run into defender for three yards
6. Another Wandale touch
7. Throw out of bounds on third and long
8. Punt
*#4 was always a wildcard and could appear at any point in the order. Quite the suspense!
the Jurgens experiment and Frost pipe dream should be over. move him, now, during spring ball.
all plays start with the snap of the ball!!!!

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is our offensive philosophy.
exactly, we have no identity whatsoever. that must change.

I think it's a bit premature to be claiming player development issues. Even at year 3 the upperclassmen are either Mike Riley recruits or transfers.
In year 3, Mike Riley lost his last 3 games by approximately 100 points.
I mean Frost has brought in offensive linemen who probably aren't truly ready.....yet they are better than the upperclassmen.
And yes, ultimately it's Frost's responsibility.
In year 3, Mike Riley lost his last 3 games by approximately 100 points.
happy to beat that stat? wow, how far we have fallen.

I thought I heard Betts name tossed around. Warner, although most may not care. Manning seems to always be up in the air.
Warner was named a captain and hardly saw the field, go figure?

I am talking about rumored to leave. That is why I used the word seem. I understand that could change. Remember our HC is an offensive guy. This is also why I am more concerned. We suck on O and our best weapon just left.
i get the feeling Frost is losing his magic??

Verduzso and Held need to show they can coach and develop players. One more year is enough.

AM needs development. we need a real QB coach and a dedicated, proven special teams coach, That's for starters.

The fact that Wandale had 0 touchdowns coming into this game tells you all you need to know about this team and this season.
agree, Frost pissed away his talent, pitiful.

Frost needs to establish a team identity, who the f**k do we want to be??

I hope we can hire a good coach some day.

Martinez is a poor passer beyond 10 yards and Jurgens will never learn how to snap a football.
Frost is living in fantasy land.he is a pathetic coach and play caller.

i wish Moos would have kept his mouth shut. Frost needs to stop with the false hope and stop play calling!
the most obvious to me is:
13 losses by less than a score, Frost is clearly being out coached, badly so, failing to make adjustments. Fleck schooled him big time!
Martinez is a mess, he is only good throwing the ball 10 yards or less, he is clearly not a good throwing QB. Very inaccurate.
Our running backs are comprised of 2 guys, Mills and Wan Dale. Wan Dale is not being split out, instead getting beat up on the inside.
Correction, Mills is our only running back!
Frost is b!^@hing about mistakes, holding, turn overs. Good teams are able to over come their mistakes.
The play calling is pathetic. Would rather see smash mouth football.

kids that get benched now simply enter the portal
Frost seems to do less with more, sad. picking up re runs is getting old too. his culture and the system he employs seems questionable, many of the kids obviously don't like it.
