one good game against a Purdue team is not guarantee of improved performance going forward.
bring on Milton, he can finish here and then coach.

Very good point. A big time OC will not come here to be a WR Coach. The reason the offense sucked year 2 and sucks year 3 even though we switched OC. Is because Walters and Lubick are not really the OC. Frost is. So doesn't matter who we bring in because they are just a WR coach with an OC title. A big time OC will not come unless Frost gets the f#&% out of the way.
so true.

basics, fundamentals, not asking for much.

Frost doesn't seem like he is watching practice? the players saw the lack of effort and preparation, but he missed it??
you can't run your QB 26 times and expect to win. Lubick must be a Frost clone, what did we gain?? nothing.
he doesn't trust any of the RB's, except for Mills?? WTF???? he acts like he is scared to coach and change things up.
he needs to make some changes and keep his mouth shut.

let running backs run. the ball, get them all some experience.
let the qbs be qbs, running 26 times in a game is bulls#!t, shows we have no offensive identity or plan.
offensive coordinator is not earning his pay!

i learned that when you only run 60 plays and your opponent runs 90 plays, you are damn lucky to get the win!

he's the man, AM will sit unless Luke is hurt.
-
too many late comers with fanfare and unknown personalities end up as non factors.
this is another one, i would guess.
also, i assume Mills got hurt, suddenly he was gone.
-
Mills must be dinged up, as he is not in there.
too much Wan Dale out of the back. field. he needs to stay in the slot or split out.
using him in goal line offense doesn't work.

The Omar Manning era came and went pretty quickly.

I get the sarcasm, but I just want to win the games. Right?
agree, but so much offensive hype as a coach, it feels constantly like vanilla.

did i miss the reason why? Omar was only targeted one time. Why??

stats don't lie, we are what they say we are, sorry to say.

where the hell is the killer instinct? i see way too many guys standing around, waiting for someone else to make a play.
swarm to the ball, gang tackling?
-
the offensive genius of Frost, kicking field goals, that's pretty damn disappointing!

just start McCaffrey, period.

Chinander has done a better coaching job than Walters/Lubick/Frost's offense so far. Offense has way underperformed in the three year period except for a few games.
the O is very disappointing, needless to say.

if the fall off is that great, then the coaches didn't prepare for Cam being out, with a coached up replacement!

I'm super late to the party here so my apologies if this has all been hashed out ad nauseum already.
Luke Reimer--Absolute stud, barring injury it's his spot from now on.
Front 7 as a whole played pretty well.
1H secondary--Yeah they mucked up the Anderson long TD run but otherwise were quite solid.
2H secondary--Jeebus Williams and Taylor-Britt tackle like absolute poo. Watching Williams get juked out by the NW WR on a spin move that was so slow I heard the theme song from the 6 Million Dollar Man would've been hilarious if wasn't so sad.
I won't beat up on 2AM here. He's just not the guy for the job anymore. If he wants to stick around, great, if not, no worries and I wish him the best of luck at his next stop. Hopefully he'll find a place that runs a more traditional pro-style offense like at a Stanford as I think he'd do really well there.
I see that we're still rolling out a really solid intramural flag football squad at WR. Absolute fu$$%%^ joke. QUIT RUNNING JET SWEEPS WITH KADE FREAKING WARNER. NOBODY IS FOOLED.
HCSF--I totally get that he loves calling plays and it's a huge part of his identity. But shoot man, you can't be a HC and the OC. I get Ryan Day makes it work at tOSU but guess what Frosty? You ain't Ryan Day. I'm not sure if 2AM struggling is causing a crisis of confidence? This is probably one of the first times that Frost has actually struggled with failure and I wonder if seeing 2AM absolutely stink...the QB that was Frost's handpicked guy is screwing with his head at all?
Our offense is absolutely exhausting to watch. It feels like every play is a gigantic struggle. 6 yard gains feel like chunk plays and a simple false start is a death sentence. Watching NU/NW and then watching the Cocktail party followed by ND/Clemson made me think I was watching a bad HS game with NU/NW.
K state and Okie state was a much better game to watch

agree, so let's hope Frost is smart enough to start McCaffrey!

this team doesn't know how to win, period.

there were a lot of missed tackles and overall poor tackling, i was not impressed, gave up too many big plays, kickoff protection sucked too.
