  1. When this offense doesn’t begin a drive  with a backwards pass for a loss, or turn the ball over, or get a holding call at a crucial time, or a whiff on a block to allow untouched defenders a clear path to the QB, or get another avoidable false start, or get into the red zone and go completely into play calling panic mode they actually  look like a decent enough team, but of course the problem is, they do all of the above about 70% of the time.

The worst comes after halftime! If Frost and company don’t understand how badly they’ve been out coached, then how can they ever improve on it? There are serious  internal reflections this coaching staff needs to have about their future! They can’t expect different outcomes if they don’t implement changes. This is why they get paid the big bucks!

I'm not even mad or surprised at this point.  When I heard they had 33 guys out I knew we would lose.  I think we are just stuck as a bottom tier program until Scott is gone, or starts getting rid of his staff.  I think he is surrounded by guys who don't know what is going on, or don't have the balls to tell Scott.

Scott can suck for 2 more years and he will still be here.  He is allowed to make excuses, blame the players, blame the officials, and blame the previous staff.

If they aren't holding him accountable now, what makes us think they will in the future.  Empty seats in a non-covid year and loss in revenue and donations will do the talking.  Unfortunatley that will take a while.

    FROST HAS FAILED,

This is pretty much how I feel about it. I use to be pretty bummed out when the team lost, but I’ve become rather numb to it now. That last drive by Minny when Mo just dropped before the goal line when he could have gone in untouched really sums it up. Huskers are at the bottom of the barrel.

Arizona just fired Sumlin. He's 9-20 after 3yrs.

    Frost is 11-20.
ASU beat em like 70-7 so there’s that. We might be a bit more competitive than that. Still, that record Frosty is building looks pretty bad.

With the exception of Stille, the rest of the defensive line is what freshman and sophomores with one Junior?  they are going up against 5th year seniors for the most part.  That unit is over-achieving now as they don't get pushed around much by the opposing offensive lines.  sure i would love to see more sacks and hurry ups but the defense as a whole is the only reason were keeping these games close.  Today, the offense was truly offensive and did very little to help their defense out.  The D played fairly well most of the day and just didn't have one more stop in them at the end of the game.  if i was grading then i would give the Defense a B or even a B+.  now the crappy offense gets a D at best.

The D gets a B or B+? Sorry, I disagree with ya there. Minny had a make shift OLine at best and we gave Morgan all day to throw for first downs on third and long plays. That’s where they need to bring some pressure. If they can’t get it with the front four then blitz more.

  5. Dream on if you think Golden Boy is gonna be shown the door! Sadly, we were a better team under all the previous coaching staffs. Offensive play calling is really mind boggling and this defense is soft on pass rushing etc...I think there is talent on the team, but they are lacking in many key areas. Coaching comes to mind.

Another game and i have no idea what frost wants this offense to look like. Luke is not a drop back passer. He should be rolling out and rpo if his first couple reads aren't there he can take off. Drop back passing with a qb who cant throw well with receivers that cant get open down field dont make sense. Frost wants to be right more than he wants to win.

There have been open receivers today. Luke just can’t seem to see the field well, or just can’t throw the ball accurately.
