  1. Do we ever learn anything? Because we always seem to do the same dumb stuff
  2. He doesn’t seem to do anything to adjust his playcalling to what he is limited to.
  3. Chubba needs one quick read, quick slant or hook. Five or six yards.
  4. It was, the ball was knocked out before he “threw” it.
  5. Maybe a misdirection or something. Apparently bootlegs work well.
  6. Big, slow tight ends running completely free off the line. No excuse for that. At least bump them initially.
  7. Well since it appears unlikely we’re going to score today…..
  8. You have arms for a reason, try using them.
  9. Yeah, but our defense didn’t stop the last drive did they? Our defense is our best unit, but let’s be realistic, they tend to get a little conservative late and let offenses move on us. I dont actually feel real strongly either way on how they called it late against Maryland. I really do see both sides. But anyone thinking a FG guaranteed a win isn’t thinking realistically. If we don’t get to the QB, our DB’s are getting beat. And we stop getting to the QB late. 2 players didn’t execute on the pick. Purdy threw a bad ball and Coleman didn’t get the hell out of the area and take his defender with him. Who knows, if one of them does it right, maybe it’s a different outcome. I think Satterfield is bad, and I don’t think it was the correct call for the situation (touch pass with a raw QB), but as some point your players have to do things as well. Like #33 last night, late in first half. Comes clean on the blitz but so out of control coming in he completely whiffs on the QB sack. Instead of a 10-12 yard loss and a likely eventual punt, they turn the play positive, move down the field and score. Players have to make plays once in a while.
  10. It would have been for the lead. Then a kickoff into the wind likely resulting in a short(er) field for them to attempt a game tying (downwind) FG, or a game winning TD.
  11. No pressure, soft coverage. Seems like we’ve seen that before
  12. We can’t leave Hill and Hartzog alone in coverage with time for their QB.
  13. We got lucky there too. Coleman facemasked. They could be even further out.
  14. Can we run 4 minutes off the clock in three plays?
  15. Boy I wish Chubba would tuck that ball away though.
  16. God that play clock seems to run down fast. Satt slow getting the calls in?
  17. Problem now is, we’re going to see nine or ten in the box, going to be damn near impossible to sustain a drive just running it. As much as I hate to say it, we’re going to have to throw to win it.
  18. We just can’t make a play to save our life. Big surprise , it was Tommie Hill.
  19. Unfortunately I think it’s going to take a defensive score for us to win this one.
