  1. I was just wondering if any of you have tried any of the recipes that I have posted. If so..which ones did you make and did you like it?

I sure hope someone has tried them:) Hope I haven't posted them for nothing:)

I look over them as much as I can, and I've tried a few of your recipes. To which I've received great reviews for. :thumbs

  2. The Shield

Married with children was the greatest TV sitcom though.

Watch the first episode of the Wire compared to the first ep of the Shield. Shield will suck you in.

that is the beauty of the wire. it starts out slow and works to a big payoff. you really need to watch the whole season. and i would suggest watching like 3 episodes at a time.

i know not many people have posted yet, but i'm surprised no one has said Arrested Development, that is definitely a close second for me, which only goes to how great the wire is, because without the wire, arrested development would be the best show ever, hands down.

I did, still it was hard to keep interested because it was painfully slow.

And you're still wrong, The Sopranos was the greatest of all time.

  3. Wrong call douce bag, I've been baggin on W as spending like a druken sailor since he was elected and as a drunken sailor, I ought to know. Sorry if yo boys campaign of I will make it worse, and you can take it to the bank isn't resonateing with mr. everyman. As to Palin, she was vilified by your beloved press not be cause she's an airhead, but because she's a conservative airhead, while Hill was portrayed as a sympathetic figure. So, if you really wanna bang brain pans, bring your A game chump.

Strike a nerve did I? Was I referring to you exactly? Typical response from a Beck worshiper, don't make an intelligent rebuttal about the facts I've stated. Just start with the name calling and making yourself look like a dumbass. Congrats! You did it!

For the record Timmy, I didn't vote for Obama. But I guess that somebody such as yourself who thinks anybody who doesn't agree with you, that would make them a liberal. So let the grown ups debate, you just go back to pleasuring yourself with your Micheal Savage poster.

  4. I sometimes wonder if Olbermann cries himself to sleep every night. Does he ever wake up in a cold sweat and wonder, "Am I an idiot? Does everyone know it but me?"

I can't for the life of me figure out why so many on the left especially hate the Tea Party movement. I can understand some of the opposition to Sarah Palin on matters of substance (as opposed to the ad hominem rhetoric typically employed), but a grassroots protest movement over taxes and the size of government? Please.

Maybe it's because this "tea party" movement is so hypocritical. Funny how they are upset about taxes and spending right after Obama got elected. But absolutely no outrage over the billions spent and the millions unaccounted for during the Iraq occupation under Cheney and W. As far as the health care debate, I sure didn't see a lot of anger about the prescription bill passed by the same republicans who are now fretting about heath care reform now.

The bottom line is that these teabaggees are only worried about spending when it's the other side in power.

    As far as the "ad hominem retoric" about Palin, Hillary Clinton faced the same thing from the right. {and still does}

  5. Full disclosure, yes I am a diehard Oakland Raiders fan. (Thanks pops! ;) ) But don't kill the messenger in this case because I think the idea is insane, but apparently Bucky Brooks at NFL.com doesn't agree.

According to him a so called "domino affect" could cause Suh to slide as far as #8 to Oakland. Now I could go on all day about why this scenario will never happen, but to save time I'll just give my top two. First say TB does draft McCoy ahead of Suh, ( ) you expect me to believe that another 5 or 6 teams also pass on Suh? Secondly, say they do pass on Suh, your telling me he gets past up by not two, not three, but FOUR O lineman...........In this class!?!

Something tells me the disinformation machines in the personnel dept of teams with picks in the 5-10 rang are really working overtime this year in hopes that a franchise player might fall into their laps.

From everything thing I've read, the Detroit Lions are praying to God that St. Louis passes on Suh. So I really don't see Suh going past the second pick.

  6. I certainly hope this is BS. I'm sorry but i'd have to hide my rooting for Suh if he played for the cokesuckers known as the Eagles. I hate all Philly teams no matter what sport, the town is full of these things called douchebags, not to mention it's considered the douchebag capital of the world. Yes I said douchebag twice in the same sentence, that is how bad they are.

Please let Suh go to a team with some class. :boxosoap

    :yeah Philly sucks.

    T_O_B

The Eagles other needs, DL isn't one of them. So I don't really ever see this happening, though I'd buy a #93 midnight green jersey.

And to you sniveling hatin' little p*ssies out there, you can just eat the peanuts outta our sh*t for all we care about what you think of Philadelphia.

Somehow I just knew you Philly fans were the type that would put peanuts in your poop.

Just to give you haters something to snack on.......

  7. He'll either be alongside Carriker or Vanden Bosch, so it'll be fun to watch either way. For some reason I'd rather see him in Lions gear.

So he can relive a Nebraska type offense most of his career? <_< The only way you could be any more cruel is to have Cosgrove take over as the defensive coach. chuckleshuffle

 Like the Rams are gonna be any better? Or Tampa Bay for that matter....

  8. First off I think the whole area is infested with homicidal idiots. I feel for the 60% of the population that just whats to get through the day alive. As for the rest of them the world would be better off without them. I have no reason to think good things about Iran. If they have a segment of their population that does not share the same idiology as their leaders then they need to rise up and make a change. If not then if Israel does decide to bomb them I hope they do a good job of it. Bomb them back into the stone age and give them a chance to come back into the world as decent neighbors of their geographic region and contributing members of the global community.

    T_O_B

None the less I think that if Israel did bomb Iran, those moderates would get a quick dose of nationalistic fever. Much like we all did after 9/11. And even if the younger generation doesn't share in the extreme idealogy of it's government, I think that there's still plenty of resentment if not hatred about Israel. I believe they'd fight or at least support what the Iranian government would do in retaliation.

All I'll say is that if does happen, get ready to pay $7 a gallon for gas.

  9. Hey Roxy (or anyone else on here!), I'm looking for advice on starches to use in my meatloaf. I've always used progresso bread crumbs, but recently saw a recipe on the side of my whole grain oats cannister. This got me thinking about alternative recipes.

Anyone out there use anything special, or have something they recommend? What do the different ingredients do to texture/flavor? (PS - I like my meatloaf fairly "smooth" in texture, so no big chunks of home dried bread for me)

    Thanks!

I use cracker crumbs, like what you'd use to bread pork tenderloins. But my real secret is to use Heinz chili sauce instead of ketchup.

  10. Every once in a great while I'll run across a fellow Husker fan out here in PSUcks territory. Last Sunday for instance while grocery shopping I crossed paths with a guy wearing a Husker hoodie. {I was wearing a Husker T shirt under my Flyers coat.} I initiated the chat, and we discussed the progress of the football program and the success of the women's basketball season.

  11. The reason I post this is you have heard far-left leaning politicians and journalists is this country call conservatives Nazis. Since when have conservatives been socialists? Since when have conservatives believed in a centralized government having complete control over the economy and having complete control over every phase of our lives? I'm not saying progressives in this country are Nazis or fascists, but they are closer to it than conservatives.

I can see how they could compare George W. to a Nazi, but their idea of free speech seems to be "you can speak freely as long as you agree with us." The current president is at least as bad about moving away from republicanism.

Yes your quite right, conservatives have never silenced a debate due to disagreement with their philosophy. :sarcasm :sarcasm :sarcasm
