  1. awesome man!! i personally on LJS's site voted that this song replace sirius on the tunnel walk. i understand that not everyone would like it, but just imagine texas entering the field, this song blasts in the stadium, and then the team is on the field?? talk about a pack of dawgs lookin for the fox think there would be some fire comin out of that tunnel and that stadium all of a sudden??

  4. ha ha ha.... no really Harrison, what does your ego really look like, in case we bump into in on the bottom...
  5. fran fraschilla comes to mind immediately. i hope rick majerus doesn't feel like coming here. too much of him not being able to coach, plus the shady things in utah with the verbal issues and the "party house"
  6. the one thing about Fran is that no matter where he goes, he gets so little out of the talent that he gets into his program. i think a&m will be good, but not good enough in the south. i think 4-5th place will be the best they can do, hope maybe a 3rd. richard justice of the houston chronicle thinks that a&m is going to just sneak up and win the whole south. then again, he has tech finishing last, calling them the biggest inferiority complex in the Big 12. at least he didn't say that about nebraska. i do tend to believe that unless they get the south title, franchione is gone. too much talent for lack of results.
  7. good responses by all... i fully understand that there are some "bluehairs" that started the whole sellout streak. but at the same time, if you didn't have new blood there, the sellout streak, the home field advantage would die. here's my one story about almost being so mad it was at the breaking point. i was at the 2001 OU game. my whole section (NE Corner) stood for the whole game. period. if you sat down, you would have missed plays. well, sure enough, there were four seniors sitting about 6-8 seats to my right. they're sitting, everyone else is standing. i could sympathize with them, in that they probably barely had the energy to walk up 45 rows, much less cheer on their feet for the better part of 3 and a half hours. however, it was pretty clear to everyone that no one was sitting unless there was a blowout, or halftime came and gone. now at the end of the first quarter, these people literally start going around and pulling people down BY THEIR PANTS to sit. grabbing people at their waists and pulling them. people were falling into other people, others that had no idea what was going on were almost starting fights. someone got the attention of a lancaster sherriff, and they told the guys that they could either stop or they would be GOING TO JAIL!! the funniest part of the whole thing was these men would not leave!! i mean, holy cow, i'm sure you have friends somewhere, or sit on the bleachers on the field level. i understand being mad, but there is no way for a game of that magnitude, you were going to make 4-5 whole sections sit for YOU. the other story i have, and i seriously thought about letting this guy have it.... last year, the wake game. i'm on the east side, up in the balcony. the national anthem starts, and i stop and take off my hat. but i accidentally step on someone's foot. i feel bad cause they are wearing sandals, so i step to my right. as i stop so i can stand still for the anthem, i'm literally GRABBED BY MY SHIRTCOLLAR and PULLED DOWN TO THE GROUND. what the hell man??? i get back up, and a 60-ish year old man looks at me, and tells me to "stay f__ing still during the anthem!!" i wait till the anthem is done, and drop some high quality four letter bombs on him and tell him what i was doing. he basically told me to shut up and pay attention to the field. i thought better of slugging him, and walked off. didn't need to go to jail for some jerkoff. rant over, thank you please pull around...........
  8. i don't know how many of you go to the journal star husker page. however, there is a flat out hilarious blog going on. it started as what songs you don't want to hear during a sporting event. it quickly turned into what the athletic department should and shouldn't play. THEN it became what type of people annoy you. it's mostly a about the "bluehairs" that go to games, don't cheer, yell at you when you're stading up in front of them, and leave at the start of the fourth quarter to beat the traffic. some people are defending them. then again, these same people also think that memorial stadium doesn't need video screens, and the band should play every song. so i ask what are your opinions about the whole experience? should the band play less or more? should the music be tamed or more heavy and powerful. should charley and ethel from weeping water that just show up and sit there for three hours just stay home and stop yelling at you when you take one step to your left or right during the national anthem cause you're standing on someone's foot? :hmmm let your opinion be heard. i've been heard a lot on there, now to hear from some people that know what's going on.
