I am a husker fan so I won't go to Texas, CU, or Kansas forums. But it's Husker fans like you that embarrass me. Like I said if NU wins next week, I will eat crow, but if I'm right, I am gonna dance all over YOU with I told you so's. I've come to believe after watching Nebraska lose to USC, Texas, and OSU, that to beat NU, you have to expose their unathleticism. Speed kills Nebraska.

Plus, the other reason why I don't think that Nebraska will win, is because not only are they faster and stronger,(just like USC, UT, and Okie St.) I think that Callahan will shift back to his NFL mentality. He knows he's in great position to win the North and that he does not NEED to beat A&M. He'll be conservative and try to keep his players healthy for the Kansas City.

You people would think that the Huskers could beat the Pittsburg Steelers if we played them. Look I want the Huskers to win............but I don't think they can. This forum is too optimistic, I try to bring a different light to this board. If the Huskers do win..........I'll be the happiest man alive............AND I will eat all the crow you want me to. I would not bet on the Skers next weekend.

I agree, but I think that anybody would be an upgrade at DC.

All I've heard so far is the blackshirts led the nation in sacks last year. That still does not cover up for every team breaking some sort of record when they play against this defense. Most of those sacks came in the early part of last year when we were playing cupcakes. What about the teams in the big Xii that have no business racking up yards against NU. Like Kansas last year and this year? Wisconsin fans are STILL laughing at us.

The thing that I fear about having a mobile QB in this offense is that mobile QB's tend to be less patient in the pocket. I just don't think that a mobile QB would work in this offense. You mean the same offense that Rich Gannon ran at Oakland?? The same QB that ran if all his WR's were covered and got good, positive yards? Grant it NFL QB's are leaps above college QB's but to say this offense isn't built around a running QB is crazy! Gannon was no speed demon but the guy could alteast move faster than a glacier! I'm talking about a QB's style. In Callahan's offense, QB should run if all else fails and he see's an opening. But when somebody says mobile QB, that refers to a QB's style like Vince Young or Michael Vick.

Since yesterday, I don't think I have posted anything that would be considered positive. Other than the only guys that had a good game are Jackson and Purify. But, I am not going apologize for thinking firing coaches after a loss that really changes nothing with regard to getting to KC, is dumb and irrational. I don't think firing coaches after a loss really changes anything either. But firing a coach because he is not getting the job done and just doing a plain sucky job for the past 3 years is sufficient enough why he should be gone.
