Yes it is tonight and that will determine if he officially visits. If he has a good in-home he will visit.

Just happened to watch the movie Friday Night Lights last night, hadn't seen it for awhile. Must be incredible to be a high school football player in Texas. Considering the pressure they deal with at the high school level its no surprise to see them flourish at the college and pro level. They have some serious balling going on down there.

The plan was for him to take a trip to ASU this weekend anyway, that was before he jumped back on board.

True, but it is disheartening that as of yesterday he's still considering taking the trip.

More I looked into it, it looks like a NCAA clearinghouse issue and with how LSU (over)signs kids, they can't take the risk.

Seems like he'd definitely be worth the risk considering that we probably wont get the 26-27 spots in this class filled. If he doesn't qualify the schollie would probably just go to a walk-on anyway.

Kentucky went after him hard, but he confirmed his commitment, he's 100% solid N. Kentucky is really pi$$ing me off!

Love this guy, he's as solid as they come, hasn't entertained calls from other teams in over a month. Deserves a bump.

I know it has been posted in the thread already, but I just watched his highlight again, and Wow! I see a lot of posters complaining about not having that big time DT commit, but I think this guy is it.... I agree we need more depth, but this kid explodes of the ball, and he has great speed for his size.... Hopefully we can keep him from Missouri, because he looks the part at the very least....

If Mizzou has already caught on to the ways of the $EC than we could be in trouble here.

Not according to 1620 am...... morning show was talking yesterday with a local reporter and said the in-home was off and that McWilson was 110% Kentucky.....in his words......."ship has sailed".

Redshirt both of them. Abdullah, heard, and cross will be fine next year. If one gets seriously injured than pull one redshirt

You can scratch Heard off the list, no chance they both redshirt now.

The most logical would be newby to have a more elusive back, since Taylor seems to be more of a power guy and we already have Cross. Newby fits into Heard's playing capabilities pretty well, if better.

Agree, Newby is the obvious choice with Heard leaving, he will definitely get a chance to earn playing time and we're only one injury away from he and Taylor both seeing the field. We should find out pretty quickly how good these guys are.

Ever noticed how alot of HS and Juco players coaches seem to like $EC schools? I wonder why they seem to push kids that way? Hmmmm......$$$$$$$$$$. Anyone know? Really hard to understand!$!$!$!$

Says UK is going to "shock the nation". Maybe he's right! They might win 5 games this year.

I'd be shocked if most of the nation even knew they played football at Kentucky.

I'm not the least bit confident when we're up against an $EC team in recruiting, especially this late in the game. They're crooked as hell and when its late and they're desperate for a player they will stop at nothing to get their guy. Hopefully Johnson can't be bought.

Actually think we're looking good here that he's ready to announce right after his visit. We were the team to beat going in and he just wanted to make sure, don't think the visit changed things. If he decided to wait till signing day I'd be worried.
