I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Texas' offense won't do anything against our D. The hot topic is how their D will do against our Offense.

I'm sorry but our student section sucks compared to most other student sections. It seems almost every other student body has some awesome tradition (student pushups, jumping up and down in unison) and they have.....what?....exactly? Waving their arms back and forth after a touchdown? Lame.

I realize there isn't anything that can be done about this, just wishing out loud that they'd get something organized or started.

Taylor's coach has mentioned that he really didn't need to run because that team was so talented it wasn't really necessary, but every time he had to he did.

All this talk about how Nebraska won't be able to run on Texas' defense is silly to me. Our O line is blocking alot better and the run offense is set up to neutralize even the most outstanding run stopping defenses. Watch a game and look at how wide our offensive line lines up. There are massive gaps between each one. When the play is hiked, the O linemen use those gaps to create even bigger running lanes. Then you just let Taylor Made do the rest. I'm not that worried.

What exactly is Aggieville? Is that like the strip where all the bars and restaurants are?

Didn't Bo say in the post game interview that this game was the team's day off? Then they get three more?

If both QB's can efficiently run this offense, why shouldn't they both play? I'm all for snaps and game time experience, but so far, I think Martinez and Green have shown they can make plays out there. Hell, I think you have a more effective passing threat with Green in, and he can run when he needs to.

I will curse the 11:30 am game time at least 14 times throughout the course of the early tailgating and game.

This is going to be difficult, but I think our guys match up great with most of those teams. Stout defense, power offense with a pinch of finness. Our offense might even be a little more evolved than most in the Big 10. The injuries and fatigue is what's going to trip us up.

A buddy and myself are going down (leaving the wives at home) and staying in Junction City as well. We'd be down with meeting up with some fellow huskerboard brethren and tailgating before the game. I know the visitor parking lots around the stadium open 5 hours before gametime, maybe we could all coordinate a massive tailgate? If anyone is interested, let me know.

Does it bug anybody else that that's going to be the final record between us and oklahoma for a very long while? It really would've been nice to completely end that series in the lead.

Anyone been privileged or fortunate enough to play this game?? I just picked it up and I am hooked. This is probably the best game I have ever played in my life. The graphics on this are unlike anything I've ever seen on a gaming system. Santa Monica studios really showed what the PS3 is capable of doing with this game as well.

I'm kind of a geek for greek mythology, and that's what this game is about. You're Kratos, the son of Zeus and a mortal spartan woman, and you were made the god of war in the second game, in this third one, Zeus has wronged you and you have to climb Mount Olympus to defeat him, killing all the other gods along the way. It's so masterfully put together, my jaw is open the entire time.

The first 30 minutes of the game is what will completely blow your mind. You start off on the back of Gaia, the mother nature titan, who is climbing mount olympus, and you're basically fighting off Poseidon and his water horses and chariots. I won't give it away...but bottom line....

PLAY THIS GAME!!

I think this discussion highlights the worst part of Husker fans - they are never truly happy with any result.

Right, because every other fanbase excluding the Huskers is happy with every result they encounter with their team. Please, there is just as much bitching going on at any other board about stuff fans don't like about their team. Don't just make it seem like Husker fans are the main culprit.
