I'm having a hard time remembering, can someone help me out. Was Kinnie a 3 for 3 or a 3 for 2 guy? I know Gomes was one or the other also, but I always get confused who had what eligibility left. Thanks in advance.

I need to look again, but I thought Kinnie was a 3/3 guy and Gomes is a 3/2?

Great article but that is a premium information on Rivals and you cant post that here.

He wont be signing tomorrow. He has decided to take an official visit to Nebraska this weekend and then he will make his decision.

His visit is still going on right now. All the "insiders" on Huskers Illustrated say he committed to Nebraska today. I will hold off my excitement until it is official.

We just moved from 25 to 23 on rivals but have no new recruits. I take it this is bc/ they did a talent re-eval?

He counts towards last years class and he is still has 5 years to play 4.

No, I dont believe so since he did not go to school this year. He took all of his classes online.

Now that Bell has qualified losing Omigie and Cobi being a longshot become less important. It would be good to get another quality wr in this class but I don't see us making any sort of stretches to fill the spot.

I just looked at his recruiting videos from last year. This kid will be a starter next season.......Mark it down!

It sounds like he has been very impressive so far but if I had to guess I would say he would be the 3rd or 4th receiver at the start of next year. He will probably be behind Meno Holt and Niles Paul for sure. Plus, you throw Chris Brooks, JUCO Brandon Kinnie and even Curenski Gilleyen with his speed into the mix.

So did he make the grades? Today was the day to find out right ?

Due to a backup in the grading process, he wont find out until Thursday.

The reason I ask is because the same idiot that wrote this article was on Usportsmanlike Conduct a few weeks ago, talking about how he was a high school quaterback that they were projecting as a safety. I understand why some people are projecting where he may end up, but I hate how national recruting "experts," tend to talk out of their ass.

Yes he did play QB. But im not sure what year. It might of been his sophomore year because im pretty sure he has played RB the last 2 years.

He will be getting his scores back on Monday or Tuesday. If he scores high enough then he will enroll at Nebraska for the 2nd semester.

I know this kid's family. He is a competitor and ace on the baseball diamond. Here is a quick video clip that shows why he would be a good fit for the Big Red.

i like big wr as much as the next guy but we really need the smaller quicker and faster wr....most of nu's wr are real tall possession type wr...we need a guy that can take a short quick pass and have the ability to take it to the house

 

 

what about gilleylen and cooper? Both are supposed to have pretty damn good speed... and sophomore/freshman next year respectively....

Cooper is coming along pretty well right now. He will definitely be in the mix next year. Gilleylen is very fast but he has to many drops and he is very inconsistent.

We've cooled some on a 5-star DE that could contribute right awawy?

I think there is a bigger need for another DT in this class than getting a third DE.

The people at Rivals seem to think we have a very good shot at him based on what his JUCO coach has said.

He just got named first-team Texas all-state(so was Rex), looks like we got an early steal.

Very impressive considering 5 star DT Jamarkus McFarland was on the 2nd team.
