  1. Sorry if this was already posted but heres how the injury happened according to an Abilene reporter:

"Chris tripped over the first-down chain on a play on the sideline. Then he stumbled and landed with his left knee on a cement curb separating the field from the surrounding track."

  2. Rivals currently has him as a soft verbal to Utah

Wow when did this happen?

Its kind of a mystery right now. There is no article or story about it on Rivals, but he has been listed as a Utah soft verbal since Wednesday.

  3. What the **ll? We need a playmaker like Jarvis Giles at running back. Why the **ll are our coaches not recruiting him hard?

Chill out. John Talman from Huskers Illustrated said he would have a new story out tomorrow about Giles. He was told by Giles that Nebraska is going after him very hard right now.

Its still going to be tough to land him because if Tennessee's new HC keeps the RB Coach, Stan Drayton then Giles said he would stick withn his committment. Drayton is one of the better RB coaches in the country, so it wouldnt be surprising if he was retained.

  4. he still has Nebraska in the top spot on his rivals...so im not sure whats going on...

They dont update those very often so dont look into that.

Nebraska is lucky they even made it this far with him

  5. IMHO, these last three games are going to decide whether he comes or not. If i were him watching the OU game i would be having second thoughts. I was waiting to wake up sunday morning and hear he bailed. If we get blasted by KU you can bet your ace he bails and i have a feeling if he bails so does that LB we picked up out of Texas. THERE IS NO INSIDE INFO ON THIS, JUST MY GUT FEELING.

I highly doubt he would decommit. He is suppose to enroll In January and his sister is enrolling with him. They already have everything set up.

  6. Dont panic on a couple of the RB that we have lost recently in recruiting....Oku and Hilliard..... everything will be fine. Remember, Castille will return, Helu has 2 years left, and Collins Okafor will be a stud. He is redshirting this year and has the total package.

From all the things I have heard about Okafor, he has been a pretty big disappointment so far. Hopefully he can turn things around.

  7. Sutton = Beast

Why in the heck this kid is not recruited higher is beyond me. I could give a flip if he is undersized. Get the kid up to to 270 and he'll be fine at DT.

Watch the film of this kid at the NIKE Camp. He absolutely abused damm near every lineman he went up against. Kid is severely underrated.

I don't understand why people seem to think DTs need to be 6'3" to be successful. It's all about leverage down in the trench - sometimes height is a disadvantage.

Thats exactly the players Bo has gone after so far. Both of the DT commits we have are right around 6'0". I think that when you are lower to the ground you can cause more problems in the backfield and get more pressure.

  8. My friend knows one of the players, and he said that the coaches havent talked much about it yet and there still not sure. But he said if they do wear the black uni's then they will go out for pre-game in the reds and come out for the game in the black uniforms. I think that would be sweet if they did that.

  9. Heres an interesting article:

Oku was so fond of his official visit this weekend that he'll return for the Alabama game in October. With any luck, he'll have the same Vol hostess.

"I have a lovely hostess who's showing me everything," Oku said when asked of the trip's highlights. "She's been lovely and I appreciate her.

"If I wasn't with her, it probably wouldn't be as fun as it is."

^^^^^^^Is it me or does that sound a little weird
